Think of you often, you taught me a lot (still practicing those trombone greats favorite exercises) good to hear your wondefull technique and your chops still up! Brought back lots of good memories, thanks for the positiveness in my life... Randy Knisely

I am a singer from Austria, and I owe a lot to Phil Wilson, singing in his rainbow band in the late nineties was a unmeasureable privilege.
however, I'm not sure whether to be heartwarmed or saddened by this video...
times change, we get older, that's for sure....
I sure hope, that Phil has the means and the health for a long and relaxed retirement.

That's great; I've finally got something on video. I can almost taste that clam chowder now! Must have been a winter gig..by the "black flannel hash" cold weather jogging suit. Takes me back to '76 at the Dorthy Quincy suite..and the Bicentennial dues Band concert..you know, before Disneyland. . . and that kid with the frizzy hair is no sloutch either ( Josh ). I'm a little sorry I never got to play with the Dues Band...there were a few hundred too many guitar players in Boston at the time. Hope all is well.

Nice to see Phil after all these years. I'm surprised he's dressed up now!... did Berklee tell him not to wear his jogging pants attire anymore?

@juniavent What are you insinuating? Because I think Phil sounds awesome in this video, and I dont care what anyone says. That is some quality jazz trombone playing right there, Phil is one of the best.
