Remember when you performed on America’s got talent, and mauled the flight of the bumblebee when you were 9, but now you are pretty amazing

I just watched that. He was in 8th grade, about to go into 10th. Makes me wonder how many doctorates he has by now.

So refreshing to see quality winning over quantity. Adrian could've gone down the route of flashy mediocrity like Jackie Evancho but here he is showing the results of proper hard work at his craft.

I don't think many who saw Adrian's performances on AGT really appreciated the talent that was buried under the glitz and show biz manner of AGT... anyone who looked past that could see there was real talent in that 9 yo... who has since not only achieved in his musical endeavours but *at 17yo has also achieved his degree in medicine from Yale, as the 2nd of his class* in 2021, age 16👏👏 hats off to this young man... you don't achieve these results w/o a lot of effort ... you can have all the genius you can get but if you don't apply it you may as well be as ordinary as the next person.. good on him and his mum for being the parent she has been to this gifted young man... if she wasn't who she was, his outcome may not have been all it has been..
Well done to them both.. 👍

Very good. I'm really happy to see you mature and choose this harder but more rewarding path. I'm excited to see you keep growing and maturing as a musician and performer.

Adrian being a concert pianist is great. But you can go beyond that and compose great music like Chopin, Mozart and Michael Nyman. Please do take good care of yourself and enjoy whatever you do everyday as life is now and today. All the best young man.

People never seem to realize that playing and interpreting this music is enough for a lot of people, and nothing short of fulfilling. To me at least, there's nothing more exciting than playing and diving into the music you love, and that is way more interesting than all these new compositions from classical musicians that, for the record, almost never reach the same quality (now talking about musicians who haven't devoted their lives to composing). Composing is a completely different thing, not everyone wants to do that.

Why don't you compose like Chopin yourself, then?

Why he would be bad? He was 9 at the time probably spending a lot of time studying instead of practicing piano now he has all the time he needs

in any concert the pianist will memorise the piece they're playing, unless theyre playing something ridiculously long like vingt regards or sequentia cyclica

although a little slow i think its this being slower is just his play style, he is a little more known for playing out of more emotion
