      You can also use shower curtains. You could get at least 10 or 12 maybe even 20 out of the shower curtain

    Thank you for a very easy video to follow. I need to make one of these for a young man who can’t find a shower cap big enough for him.

      Be sure to increase the size of your circle in that case!

    Thanks for this. I’ve been looking for a pattern that made sense. I’m gonna make one of these but put a drawstring in instead. No futzing with elastic, and I can adjust it around rollers and what not. Thanks again.

      Exactly what I have been thinking to do. Elastic band does not last long.

    Hi Melly. Great video. We included a link to it on a Facebook page of Sewing CDC Compliant Masks for Central Indiana. We have a plan for scrub caps and will be using cotton. Thanks for your clear and concise instructions. Hope this boosts your viewers.

    Great video! I've needed a shower cap for 20" thick dreadlocks and couldn't justify spending $40 on a custom one. I have spare PUL I'll be using to make one today!

      There’s. I technique to it, you just iron it on according to the package directions. I’d suggest practicing with scraps first if you’re nervous.

    How did you manage to get the vinyl to fit? It says it's 43cm wide but surely you'd need it a bit wider?

    • @Mellysews
      @Mellysews  3 года назад

      You can cut multiple pieces if your vinyl isn't wide enough. Make sure the edges get butted against each other.
