I'm also working on a similar 3rd person zombie shooter, one thing I can say for certain, making this a survival game with a lengthy roadmap and planning tons of content is a terrible idea if you guys are just starting out with only a small team and a small budget, you're trying to succeed at something that much bigger teams failed hard at after wasting many years of development for games that ended up DOA. The likeliness of this project being a success is extremely low in it's current state. I'd recommend you guys scale down the project, start with something you can actually finish and publish in a reasonable time frame, find a cool idea for a small game that can be allot of fun to play without requiring ungodly amounts of content like a survival game does, focus on that and polish it to the extreme so that it feels amazing, flows super well, and can later be used as a base for a bigger, more ambitious game that you can fund the development of with the money you made from selling your first project. Don't fall for the classic trap of making a game that is to ambitious for the money and manpower you have to develop it. Whatever you guys choose to do, I wish you all the best of luck.
Thank for suggestion , We're not create the game from scratch. First we have in-house framework topup on unreal engine and this game is the fourth. So most of time use for prepare asset such as Level / Model / Item etc. We also have some systems to do topup and could it finish on time.
