My 1st dress to sew was Penny dress and it was moderately difficult (the collar matching) I have cataracts so that has something to do with it. The youtube tutorial helped as it was different than the written instructions.
Congratulations on taking on this not-so-easy dress and completing it! Yes attaching collar without getting any puckering is key! and the sleeve and underarm instruction doesn't yield sturdy seam so I've changed that part. thanks for watching!

Hi there! No there’s no shorten/lengthen line in the pattern but it should be fairly easy to insert one yourself as the bodice side seam is pretty much straight line there wouldn’t be much to grade after you either shorten or lengthen at any point of the side seam. For the skirt if you’d like to shorten it, determine your length and keep the same distance from the waistline around the circumference to draw a new hemline. For lengthening the skirt, keep stretching each side line until desired length and draw a new hem keeping the same length around the circumference. So it should get wider at the hem as u make the skirt longer.
