You’re supposed to shoot the flares basically straight up and as they fall, they illuminate the area with their color.
Correct yeah I use better modded ones so just launched one out of a M203 for the sake of it 😂

@@michaelscott8839it would be absolutely amazing if they added rocket pods to the basegame framework but im not sure and i believe they haven’t planned it
Just so you know, Open Bolt means the bolt closes and then the weapon fires when you pull the trigger, such as in many SMGs and machine guns, as opposed to the current Assault Rifles which fire from the closed position :)

I hope they add variation to the AI on how they drive and act depending on if they are ‘Aggressive’ or ‘Passive’
Open bolt support is probably in regards to future smgs into the game things like the ppsh
Finally we have ai driving about time I hope servers start implementing it once official so they don't need magical spawn points for enemy ai where they spawn in a field a distance away to attack. Instead if AI wants to attack a point they drive from the point they have captured to attack.
Yeah you can legit fill a truck up and get them to drive to you
I love that idea I don't like the random field Bois either I'd love to set up on roads and build barricades and have them be half useful
I'm more interested on automated AI suply convoys, barelly anyone wants to run supply trucks or knows how important it is, often starving bases off supplies, with AI supply convoys you'd still benefit from doing runs yourself but can for the most part forget about it after the big investment for building the bases, also gives extra convoys for players to attack

If you place a mine, set an explosive charge next to it, then rig the charge to a detonator, you've got yourself an IED.
Unrelated to that tidbit, the bayonets are great. They either kill in one poke or knock the victim uncon for an easy follow up poke.

ARMA 3 was a pain to get AI to drive cars anywhere. I’d end up putting 25 move orders down just to get them to go a couple miles
and then they get caught on a guard rail
Operation Flashpoint ( Cold War Crisis ) or what its now called ARMA Cold War Assault literally had a perfect AI for driving any vehicle and aircraft, so this kinda blows my mind. Not really sure why they struggle with their latest titles when it comes to AI doing these when they excelled at it previously.

I just wish theyd fix the issues when Manning a turret. I can only blind fire. If I aim, i cannot shoot at all.
Flares you shoot high up to the sky, they parachute down and light the whole area

Yep, flares are actually super useful during night and they look AMAZING.

Haha obviously Reforger is the new Enfusion engine and had to be built up from nothing.
Pretty sure the gloves are named incorrectly. Would have been made out of Nomex which is fire resistant. No pilot unless they’re insane would wear wool while flying. Also they look exactly like nomex gloves.

biggest answer they already do. You can place them in BTRs etc and they will fire the guns

A Base Game Update For Everything
So, the AI can drive, but can they fetch supplies? In other words can you get them to drive a truck to your main base, load up with supplies and return, without human intervention?
not sure yet they can drive the truck you can fill it and you can tell them to drive to another base where people unload there maybe Experimental is still getting updated.
Something funny about cars, they actually implemented better suspension, differentials and now clutch, wonder if we'll see am actual karting dlc this time 😂😂 or some mad modeer bringing the whole assetto corsa or wrc to reforger, can't wait to run the Military Base-Beauregard stage of Rally Aarland event
Funny you say that we do actually rally events with modded cars and race props and Formula 1 too I have videos on both lol. 😂

The game is lagging on my PC although I have i7 10700kf with rtx 3060ti and 32gb rams 9:22 and 2tb ssd , even if placed on low graphics hits 70 to 80 fps

you can always Command Ai they just added Driving & Supressing Fire to it
@@TaskForceGamingTactical errrm no u couldnt you could only command them from map gm menu. now this update i got it working since i commented here. u press command button and u can recruit nearby AI and add them to your group and command them. bit janky but am sure they will make better and i cant wait to see the mods tht follow this update gunna be like areal arma game soon.

and the helis cant fly yet? that seems a thousand times easier to implement than driving pathfinding

its annoying for console as it maxes at 30fps with the xbox series s, im gonna buy a pc cba for low fps
If you put your arma on low settings I'm on series S and I sit at a clean 70 fps and there's no real difference besides if you like to zoom in on the ground

I was going to say as long as they drive better then in Arma 3 but i dont expect much from Arma AI in general. They clearly want it to be a pvp game so why put a lot of effort into single player content but the minimum they need to say it has a single player option. Honestly the only reason i would buy this, is if someone made a better version of Antistasi and the AI will get in the car when i tell them to get in the damn car. You know how many team members i have just said F you and ditched because i tell them to get in the car 20 times while getting shot at.

Normally I would say OK it's an experimental build and things will get better, however, this is BI we're talking about and I'm afraid what we see is what we are getting. In typical arma fashion the AI is absolutely terrible. No matter what u tell ur AI to do they ignore u and the command wheel does absolutely nothing and your soldiers either ignore u or do something completely different. 10 yrs of the same BS ai issues in arma 3 sorry but I don't see them being any better in arma reforger. Same for AIndriving they simply can't drive or just get out the vehicle at random places and some of the squad will mount and half will choose to walk. 😂 I'll stick to arma 3 I think at least there's mods to fix the shocking AI.
Yeh it’s Reforger it’s the test bench for Arma 4 and this is the most advanced Ai we will get by the time it releases. As for now yes all a test but eventually be flying choppers and stuff be sick. Hopefully a few updates on this too before stable release.
@TaskForceGamingMilsim yes I understand that reforger is test bed for A4 but like a stated above given BI history with some of the worst coded AI in the industry I'm not confident that the AI we see here isn't going to get much better the same old janky AI we all know from all arma games. The only reason I can even play arma 3 is because the great work that Modders do to make AI playable and not make me wanna kill myself lol

No Ai driving is lol you’ve always been able to command Ai they only added suppressing fire and driving to the already there commands.
The explosion effect is horrible, as the damage =S
Isn't c4 more of a controlled explosion for destroying the thing it's placed on
