Have basically only used coconut fractionated coconut or almond oil in my essential oil blends I do love jojoba on occasion but isn't always readily available where I live

When I mix the essential oils with carrier oil, after a while (at least one day) there are layer appears in the mixing. Why is that? Is it because the carrier oil did not suitable or is it normal to have the layers?
