Tammy was Ronnie's firsrborn daughter. Ronnie's second wife didnt treat her right. she made no mention of Tammy throughout her life, and made sure Tammy didnt get any money from Ronnie.
Gone much too soon as well as her dad did !!! Now, dad and daughter are united and are next to JESUS, our saviour. R.I.P., Freebird and Freebird´s Child !!!
He was originally buried at a cemetery in the next county over, where Steve and Cassie Gaines are buried. However Ronnie's grave was broken into and damaged few times. It's been said one attempt was made to actually get into the vault. So the Van Zant family moved his grave here. I never understood why he was buried in the other cemetery as he was born and raised on the Westside of Duval county not very far from where this cemetery is.
@@Ninapatine Only the best for the best! Ronnie is a very honorable person! Not saying you weren't saying he isn't an honorable person it's just I'd like to see his gravesite look just as special if not even more special than the others. He is well deserving of it imo.
I’m a little confused. Ronnie, Steve’s and Cassie’s graves (or, at least the headstones) are still at Jacksonville Memory Gardens here in Orange Park. I heard the graves were actually moved due to vandals. Does anyone know if this is true? The headstones are still here, I was just there a couple weeks ago putting flowers on my dad’s grave.
Ronnie’s grave was moved to the back / right near a small pond. I have communicated with Steve’s daughter and his grave has been moved to another location next to his wife. I believe this was due to vandals. Some of it is a bit confusing.
I did not see one but I could have missed it. I was running out of time and didn't get to finish my visit. Thank u and as always, your input is definitely appreciated.
She's Ronnie's daughter... She used to have a ministry called Free bird Ministries.
Thank you for that info. I didn't know that.
I'll have to get over there and visit. I've been to Memory Gardens when Ronnie was still there...i couldn't speak, i didn't cry.
It’s definitely an experience that I can’t describe. I can’t believe they’re gone.
Sure miss this band 😇
I live right down the road from here.
