- After Starsky accidentally shoots Hutch while investigating a home robbery he is overcome with guilt and resigns from the force. Hutch must testify against his friend in court, will he tell the truth about what really happened that day or lie to save his best friend and partner? Afterwards, can either one of them live with themselves or each other?

You never cease to amaze me my friend. I'm glad through it all they end up together. The police force doesn't define their partnership. It goes so much deeper then that. I don't think even death will separate the two. If one goes before the other, the one left will live for two, as Spencer5460 so beautifully depicted in her story. I love how you have given us a season 4 and then some.
This just says it well without any words that if Hutch decides to throw away his Career job end it and take nothing no more to do with the Force then and only then so will Starsky.
On the Police Force together there unstoppable like very close Blood Brothers and trying to separate them would be words way beyond explaining.
There a solid strong firm connection that shouldn't not ever never be broken.
Thats what real true partners are who become like real true Blood Brothers.
They get the strength from each other.
And when if that connection breaks then there separated broken hurting deep inside.
That Close Love Brother Bond does work well without any hesitation fail or doubt guaranteed even between Partners on the force.
On tv playing Characters and even when outside in the world not in front of the camera.
Thats a friendship thats boundless and priceless.

Just found this video, well-done. However,the shooting episode involved a robbery ring of kids. After one of them shoots,Hutch,Starsky is paired w/another partner(a female cop,he's not too thrilled with) She hods her own w/him & gains his respect. My favorite part of that episode was the exchange between Starsky & an old woman dying of terminal cancer. She's kind & encouraging to him,short,bittersweet but jus the sort of thing that I always loved about the series,very human.
Kaye is right I remember the episode, they ran the reruns on Cozy a cable network last year.
The whole point is that the videographer - luvthatblueeyedsoul - created her own 'episode' using clips from various Season 4 episodes.

I vaguely remember this episode, but didn't remember that Starsky did it. I thought it was a thug.

Starsky didn't do it. If you revisit the scene you'll see it was a black girl with "Princess Leah" hair buns wearing a denim shirt.

The hand holding the Gun that shot Hutch is wearing a light blue denim Jacket that was a black young woman from an episode i can't remember wat one it is, you can see at the bottom of the screen the hand and the gun. i saw in the exact same spot in that hallway. starsky didn't shoot hutch he was wearing a dark jacket , must be two different episodes she shot hutch when starsky came flying in he saw hutch slumped !!. i don't remember ever seeing any episode where starsky shoots hutch!!ruclips.net/video/EFUSjc9yOA0/видео.html
