Great job!! It would be cool to find a route that you could time these boards and keep a chart with times and 0-whatever speeds along with top speeds and hill climbing speeds. But I know that would take a lot of time. Maybe one day we will have this kind of input. Thx for your time on this. These are my favorite kind of videos.
I wonder how the new 2023 Acedeck X1 would compare? Its only available in 2wd but had a much higher output ESC they say. It was already impressive on those much bigger tyres than the other boards.
Not surprising the acedeck 4wd beat 2wd boutique boards. This thing with 2in1 production boards being all about startup acceleration lately probably plays a part too. Vesc is setup standard without an aggressive acceleration curve, up to the user to set it up how they like it but generally they’re more about power than startup torque.
@@esk8nyc Absolutely! If it was released 6 months earlier I would’ve bought a hadean rather than going DIY, now it’d be tough to choose as there’s so many more options matching or surpassing it in one way or another.

Acedeck is sweet and 2wd performs similar to the other boards for acceleration if you swapped the gear ratio and wheel size out to match the other 6's in this video. However the pricing is steep. 4wd is where it is at!
@@PeopleDoingStuff Acedesk has bigger battery (14s4p) than others - mostly 12s. So range should be better there. I'm looking something with minimum real range 50km, as I used to do some daily trips in that range :)

I really wanna test out the hadean but for this price I never ever buy it.
@@LongboardingKassel see thats where ur wrong. its not double the stats. it doesnt get double the range. doesnt do double the speed. i doubt it has double the power. (its been a while since i rode one). there battery is a 12s8p. nothing crazy (i dont need more than a 12s4p anyway).. and i also value smaller sizes, usa customer service, its power, its smooth esc, its range, and all the retailers/service centers they have in the usa alone. we can agree to disagree about the “value”. but it for sure isnt double for $1000 more. and yes, u need to ride the hadean. i learned to NEVER judge a board by its price and spec sheet. ppl make fun if “lishen” cells, yet has a fantastic middle ground of power, range and basically zero lag. cant speak the same for some “molicel”
