Another great one my buddy lots of great plans there for the area so looking forward to those videos. A root cellar sounds like an awesome idea , I'm thinking you need a raised dry area that you can dig down but still be above grade to be dry , concrete one would be awesome. Those batteries are they the ones that fit the Canadian Tire Mastercraft tools ? Looks the same. Those toutons were cooked to perfection , combined with your Mom fish cakes , meal fit for a king. Hope you have an awesome week my buddy
Nice you are planning on bringing up rhubarb. Dinner looked good. I understand the saturated ground. Been raining here in Oregon for a week, won't stop till April. I don't try to do anything outside this time of year.
I live in Ottawa. We get basically -30C to +30C, so less extreme at the ends. But -10C to -20C is normal. And, to be honest, I don't think we hit -30C for the last two years. We used to get roughly a week of -30C.
Yeah it's pretty much the same here, with the wind chill we would get a 1-2 weeks with-30 to -40 but the last few years were lucky to get a few days to a week at those Temps. Between-10 to -20 is our average. We have a wet cold that doesn't feel as cold as it is. A dry cold at those Temps feels a lot colder. Our Winters are not as extreme as they once was. We get a lot more mild temperatures, some Winters the ponds and rivers isn't the safest to be going across.
Getting a nice homestead there
Oh no, I think you linked the wrong video the brews one. Looking for mom’s fish cakes. Thanks keep up the great work.
