Thank you ! The vise consists of panavise 312 base mount, panavise 305 base connected via some spigot adapters to a smallrig clamp. something similar is here : ruclips.net/video/RErUBBauQVU/видео.htmlsi=xdR7rEQJjznud5-6
one question , why did you pick with the cylinder upside down ? was it easier ? anyway also 4 minutes meaning is a good lock considering you know the inside and you are working on a vice without defender.
Hi there ! the lock orientation is simply a matter of preference. I'm used to pick locks "pins up", so that's why. It doesn't make a lock harder of easier in absolute most cases. Funnily enough I picked the mottura c43 in other orientation on this channel. You're right that this lock is good, I highly doubt anyone would attempt to pick it in "the wild".
thank you for your extremely observant remark señor Sherlock, in case you haven't noticed this is locksport, not a guide how to pick installed locks. of course I'm familiar with the lock, this hobby is not about proving you can pick any lock on the street.
I don't think there is, unless you mean some safe locks like rosengrens cnab6 or rkl10. There are probably also some impossible bitting combinations of locks with extreme keyways such as the assa p600. the important thing is that in a real world scenario, nobody is going to try to pick a high security lock installed on a door.
Terrific explanation and quick picking.
Fantastic picking of one very cool lock. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Great picking mate 👍 what brand is your vise btw? Seen a lot these days 😅
