I'm honestly not sure what kind of character I'd rather the purple guy be...
Apart of me wants there to be atleast something good inside his sick mind and heart.
But at the exact same time, i don't want there to be anything good or anything sad about him... because i don't want to pitty him or feel bad for him... i want to hate him for what he did to all those poor kids.
I guess long story short, I'm torn between wanting him to be just as much as a victim as those kids, and wanting him to be a heartless monster.
