- This is a fanmade trailer, nothing shown is official information from legendary or Warner. Marvel made a trailer to promote phase 4 of their universe, so for Godzilla's 68th anniversary I decided to take inspiration from that and make my own but with the monsterverse. Might want to work on the titles a bit. “The Destruction of Battra” and “Evil Moguera” just sound really odd. But amazing editing.

The MonsterVerse is the Anti-MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The MonsterVerse isn't the MCU and that's a good thing.
The one thing differentiating the other big franchises (Star Wars, DC, Marvel) from this one is how they ACTUALLY learn from certain mistakes and what went wrong, as well as genuinely listen to the fans concerns as well as what they want. I mean they have done everything both DC and Star Wars SHOULD have done (a chohesive storyline, proper introductions to our main heroes etc) before expanding. This was probably the reason they scrapped 'son of kong' (IF that rumour was ever actually true), because it is clearly not what the fans wanted. If you look at the failures of the Star Wars sequels as well as DC and the most expensive TV show ever made (Rings of Power) its because they didn't address the fans complaints. Rings of Power however is a tough one because they didn't have the rights to Silmarillion, but it could still have been somewhat more faithful to the original timeline of Tolkiens works. Nevertheless, all three resulted in a 'retconning' which only made the franchise even more divisive and inconsistent. THE MV has never needed any such retcon. I also love how they have managed to keep this new film so top secret we didn't even know it was being made until production started, and we still know very little about it. They probably won't even reveal who the new big bad is until shortly before its release, may be we will get a glimpse or a shadow of it in the first trailer. I'm hoping it's Biollante to be honest.

While this monster universe is not one of my favorite per se at the same time I do have to agree I am excited to see what else legendary puts out I hope that they do specific Kaiju better than they have mechagodzilla or ghidorah not that I didn't like them I just think they could have been done much better
so long as legendary continues to learn from their mistakes like they have in the past I'm pretty sure this legendary monsterverse has a bright future

My fear is this
I DO NOT want the Monsterverse to be like Marvel! NO! The Monsterverse is the best cinematic universe to exist! The Monsterverse is alive and continuing on March 15, 2024, as said from Legendary Pictures themselves on Instagram! Also, a new live action Monsterverse series is coming to AppleTV+ in 2023 which follows the aftermaths of 2014 Godzilla which follows one's family journey to discover their deep past which leads them to a secret organisation known as Monarch and to live in the fear that monsters are real!
