1:55 The "X" trophy with the bronze car on top , for JPM's win 1999 Molson Indy Vancouver . Jimmy also got one for his 3RD place finish . Tony got 3RD place in 2002 ( standing bronze driver figure ). Of all the racers I met over the years of trophy making . Tony was an absolute gentleman .
I was invited back in 2017 by the Ganassi team for the Indy 500. Before the race there was a banquet at the shop. It was incredible, you could walk around freely and see the wing department, the sticker area and machining area! The hall with the haulers was filled with old Ganassi cars from the Cart and Indycar era on the walls, including the Deltawing mockup. The drivers were there too mingling with the guests, including their former star Dario Franchitti. TK was such a great guy to meet. He was playing around with his kids when I asked him for a pic. I chose a very inapporpriate moment, but he still obliged with a huge smile! Sorry for that TK :) One of the best experiences ever!
Great job TK, enjoyed the tour. Saw the Pruett helmet in Chip's office, Scott brought a lot of champion ships to Ganassi Racing. Big fan of his out here in California.
The trophy display configuration is a bit odd. Trophies block the view of other trophies in the rows behind, they are not secured in a case and are more prone to damage or theft, and the horizontal spread visually suggests they have fewer trophies, compared to a vertical configuration in a display case. The Andretti homes, McLaren HQ feature nice freestanding rows of vertical cases that creates an impressive “wall” of trophies effect.
Tony’s depth of knowledge, love of the sport, and respect for everyone involved jumps right off the screen.

Vasser, Zanardi, Montoya.... what a team Target Ganassi Racing was in the late 90's. As a kid i was such a huge fan.
Those were the hood old days. One thousand horsepower.

Thanks Tony , impressive shop. Congratulations on retirement, and thanks for everything you've done for Indycar. You will always be a Champion.
Tony Kanaan is the man.

Thank you TK! I love the yard of bricks tattoo on your arm! Perfect 👍
I would've guessed Chip would be living in Indy but that's cool he still lives in his hometown. Really cool tour TK!
I just visited this shop and it's absolutely amazing! It God had a race team this would be his shop...
Give Tony another chance at the 500!!!!!
Makes me sad he is riding with ARROW for the 500 this year
@@jakeismyname100 Kinda cool he had 7Eleven on his car and that he said he and Helio went at it wheel to wheel after the last red flag for 15th!
can't hate this man
I'd love a tour of chips "other" facility.
The one with the tunnel.
love tony we should have every team give us their shop tour
Very cool. First time I’ve seen an Indy shop. No reminisce of his NASCAR team. I thought he might have a small section.

My buddy wraps cars there. Pretty badass facility
I am going to miss TK when he walks away great driver

Thank you Target shoppers for buying all of this.
Things you can’t show Tony? It’s a spec series. No secrets aside from Dampers
So if you race for Chip and you win, you don’t get to keep your trophy??
Awesome
Shit, the 'shop' looks like a NASA clean room...
I see Sterling Marlin's diecast
