So far I've received 100% agreement in my assessment from the many I sent the link to the video to. I sincerely wish you well in your future. this is the first time I hear someone of my age bringing up the pedagogy of message composition within art, which are two very similar concepts that I never thought of putting together. a true and good point, the people who need reaching aren't the ones already fight the fight but the people who still find themselves ignorant to the reality that surround them. and the best teacher is not the one that is more knowledgeable but the best at translating complex information in not only comprehensible but digestible way to their alumni in this case an audience. fuck ashley you just opened a pool of possibilities to me lol
"Desperate to give context so I don't get misunderstood" This is the same reason I talk way too much... people tell me to quit half the time... I'm glad she said this too.
Zach has brain, he is best Interviewer! !!!! Please make Interview with our boys BTS!!!! Halsey is smart, educated tald need women!!! I love that she Talks about our Army's Truth, Fact! !!
Hmmm didn't Zach ask the ARMY about the questions to ask them on twitter this year? Did I miss that? But he did had an interesting interview with BTS in 2017.
Zach also asks BTS actual good questions! So many other US interviews asked generic, repetitive, and shallow questions like “Who do you want to collab with?”, “Who’s your favourite celeb?”, “What’s your favourite food?”. Of course, asking these questions once in a while is fine, but over and over again? It just gets annoying for everyone. Zach asked about their creative process, the concept and meaning behind their songs/albums, how they came up with ideas, etc. This is the kind of interview ARMYs and BTS want and like. BTS members write/compose/produce a large part of their own discography and they love sharing their work. By focusing on their artistry, this is what makes Zach’s interviews enjoyable for many people.
I was fan of Halsey (since badlands) even before I knew about BTS and then I also become BIG fan of BTS... so seeing this collab just makes me so happy. They are all such a nice people and many ARMYs are becoming introduced to Halsey and that is great. Love it. Love Halsey.💜
I really appreciated that opening. Hard stuff to talk about but it’s true. It’s really a hard time to be a young person. But watching stuff like this knowing that even Halsey is thinking and feeling just like I am makes me feel a little at ease. SO THANK YOU FOR THAT 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

57:06 I’m crying I always felt like no one truly understood our “AGGRESSIVE” behavior towards others for using BTS and she understands how it is. I’m so thankful to Halsey for being so understanding and a beautiful person inside and out.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love Halsey! She is such a fabulous person!! The fact that she even worries what impression she might have on a 9yr old girl because of a tweet her mom sent speaks volumes about the kind of person she is...
I love that you gave her the time to actually think and ramble and express herself. Like you can actually see moments where she's visibly looking for the words and there's just silence. It's great to see an interview where you know you're getting an authentic version of someone you admire
Ugh her mind is so beautiful the way she puts everything into words is just beautiful. She is beautiful this woman is an amazing, smart, talented and genuine person and I've come to love her so much😭💖
I've never been an avid fan of Halsey but now I just might. The way she articulates her thoughts and her progressive attitude gives me actual chills. It's not often that i see a celebrity use their platform to this extent and I'm really appreciative of it. Wow.
I have never been sadder to see an hour, ten minutes and 18 seconds end so quickly. This woman is truly incredible. Also, Zach, you're amazing. To all three of you, ARMY supports youuuu
I think it's their company BigHit that decides where they do interviews, not the members themselves. But it would be nice if their management would schedule their interview here instead of places that ask the same generic questions over and over again.
The Zach Sang Show is always a pleasure to watch, he really bothers to go in depth and have a soulful conversation with everyone he invites! Lots of love, Zach!
this interview is honestly amazing... to be frank, I did click on this just for BTS, but now I've ended up listening to the entire thing, and now I'm probably gonna go listen to a ton of her songs and add them to all my playlists because she is amazing and I'm so happy BTS is friends with her, and collaborated with her.
Every time I watch an interview with her, I’m astonished at how similar we are. She is so critically empathetic in a way that not everyone necessarily deserves but that (at least tries) to serve everyone to the point of the most appropriate result. Like HER MIND.
I love watching Zach's interviews because he really asks important questions and one's that we (the fans) would like to know about. Halsey on the other side as the interviewed also really gets to speak and explain her train if thought, which I think is one of the most important things for a person who puts out content that is as personal as hers. She says that ARMY "gets it". Well I, as an Army, can give that right back to her because she gets it and never fails to represent us when asked about us. I have listened to her even before I really got into the BTS cosmos and I'm glad that these artist, these people that I have learned to love and listen to with my heart, get along and became friends. Proves to me that they truly are good people and not just pretending to be. Not that that was ever in question ( for me)
Wow, Zach and Halsey really get what’s messed up here in America 😭 where have I been, Halsey I already stan you!! Halsey gets ARMY culture too!! I really been living under a rock 😂
I’m a fan of Halsey and BTS but I also felt she is a big fan of BTS. It’s also why she understood army. It was easier for her to meet them as she is an artist. But I’m glad she can speak up for them when they can’t. I love it all.
The way I listened to the whole thing bc I've never heard a more articulate and smart western artist like her. Everytime she talks I'm just here like, "I wanna hear more".
"[ARMY's are] so poorly represented in culture - as like these 'fangirl,' 'crazy,' 'mindless'... And they're like the opposite. They're intelligent, they're funny, they're tasteful, they're charitable..." "They're protective. As they should be." the actual way i love her 🥺😔✊🏼💜 and him too both Halsey and Zach are a true blessing to armys and we are so thankful to have ppl like them speak up for all of us.
Such a good interview. Thank you so much. Both Halsey and Zach are intelligent, knowledgeable, and understanding. I especially was so touched by the kind words she said about Army. I'm really happy and grateful.
at the end when she was talking about the fans who have grown with her, it really hit home because I've literally been listening to her for as long as I can remember and she's such an important role model and person in my life. Never would I have imagined when I first listened to her that she would have such an impact on my life and growth. Nowadays when I listen to her music and see how she has grown, the nostalgia is unreal.
I was a little into halsey like I knew her before the bts collaboration but after it I became more into her...she is such a sweet and beautiful person, I love her so much
Wowwww. SO much respect for her after hearing this interview. I had never really given her a lot of thought before Nightmare came out honestly, she sort of seemed like another Ellie Goulding to me for some reason. Gonna go binge-listen now knowing more about her process and views.
Zach has spoiled me to all other interviewers. I crave these kind of real, authentic conversations, and Halsey just brought it all to the table. I feel so satiated. And now I want to be friends with both of them, lol, having coffee and fixing the world. Thank you Zach - your interviews are so refreshing.
I love listening to Halsey interviews, especially her interviews here, because I always come away with a little more knowledge and a little more to think about. She's absolutely incredible, and this show fosters those conversations really, really well
24:29 @ 100 letters & yelling in the crowd made me cry. 100 letters is one of her best songs (fight me) and it’s helped me through so much and going from crying to those lyrics for much of 2017 where i was at my lowest point in life to yelling “i’m not something to butter up and taste when you get bored” in her concert in 2018 is the most beautiful and empowering growth.

this is the first time I hear someone of my age bringing up the pedagogy of message composition within art, which are two very similar concepts that I never thought of putting together. a true and good point, the people who need reaching aren't the ones already fight the fight but the people who still find themselves ignorant to the reality that surround them. and the best teacher is not the one that is more knowledgeable but the best at translating complex information in not only comprehensible but digestible way to their alumni in this case an audience. fuck ashley you just opened a pool of possibilities to me lol
I love her 😭 she truly gets us. 💜 & if I ever hear someone talking crap about BTS or Halsey I'm coming for your throats 😘
This are her best interviews i'm so exited
SunTree true
She's a real friend of them. She's genuine, I love her so much she's officially our girl. 💜
the sweetest realest coolest most genuine girl in this damn industry
Dr user, I think there‘s someone who shares that spot with Halsey, but yes! 😊
@@najrenchelf2751 who?
Billie Eilish...

I was fan of Halsey (since badlands) even before I knew about BTS and then I also become BIG fan of BTS... so seeing this collab just makes me so happy. They are all such a nice people and many ARMYs are becoming introduced to Halsey and that is great. Love it. Love Halsey.💜
ok, the episode didn't air yet but i am gonna leave a comment anyway and say that it's amazing. i know it for sure.
marina teenmagic, can confirm! 😊
Thank you so much for sticking up for us. We know we aren’t always perfect, but thank you so so much for your kind words. We adore you~ 💜
She is my favorite artist ever so this is the best
I literally have such strong feelings of affinity towards halsey it's amazing, she's incredible
halsey is so precious. we truly don’t deserve her.
I love Halsey so much.. she’s so chill and she’s inspiring..I’m really glad BTS and Halsey became friends
I really appreciated that opening. Hard stuff to talk about but it’s true. It’s really a hard time to be a young person. But watching stuff like this knowing that even Halsey is thinking and feeling just like I am makes me feel a little at ease. SO THANK YOU FOR THAT 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm so happy that BTS choosed to collab with this wonderful human being. Much love for Halsey!!!
Halsey: Im not doing another concept album
Also halsey: well the album is gonna be a concept one somehow
sofi de la costa sorry i'm french and i don't really understand the meaning of "concept album", what is it?
@@apolline9910 it's like her latest album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, the whole concept was a modernized version of Romeo and Juliet with its own twist. Her first one Badlands was about a place
@@apolline9910 its like telling a story..
if we take her hopeless fountain kingdom album music videos ,they were all telling a story halsey wanted the tell with the concept of the movie romeo and juliet.
@Val Hamlet i see
This is how interviews should be...he's so genuine
For BTS, jump to 57:06 !!
Do listen to full interview if you have time. Halsey is great💜✨
Firefly26 tysm! 💜
💜
Thank you💜
💜 Thank you
unpopular opinion: BTS are so bad i don’t see the appeal in a fat group of boys hopping around on stage singing shit songs in a different language
she is literally the most relatable artist ever. i was emotionally touched many times during this interview
I love this conversations, halsey and zach are truly Intelligents 🙌🏻 💯
just the first 5 minutes and no wonder bts loves you both great minds think alike
12:54 is the slam poem version of Nightmare, this is more for myself than anybody else
Her interviews are always the best. She speaks so well and is so honest and open. We love you Halsey, keep doing you ❤️
Literally her talking about the gender divide, the whole motives behind wanting power for men and for women made me cry. I can’t, it’s so heartbreaking because it so true.
She is so articulate. I L O V E listening to her speak. Also, Zach is definitely one of my favourite interviewers. ❤
She completely understands everything ARMY is about and why we are the way we are.
Halsey thank you for this interview, we really love you 💜💜
The compassion and intelligence radiates off of her. It's amazing.
She's so smart, I admire her so much right now, she is amazing
57:06 I’m crying I always felt like no one truly understood our “AGGRESSIVE” behavior towards others for using BTS and she understands how it is. I’m so thankful to Halsey for being so understanding and a beautiful person inside and out.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Estela Lopez nope i’ll still be protective over them.
I didn’t know much about Halsey before her collab with BTS and now I absolutely love her
Halsey is touching my entire soul with her words
I’m so sad it’s over, the way she speaks is simply beautiful
I love Halsey! She is such a fabulous person!! The fact that she even worries what impression she might have on a 9yr old girl because of a tweet her mom sent speaks volumes about the kind of person she is...
BTS, Halsey, and Zach are the only people who speak facts, i dont make the rules
YUNGBLUD
I love that you gave her the time to actually think and ramble and express herself. Like you can actually see moments where she's visibly looking for the words and there's just silence. It's great to see an interview where you know you're getting an authentic version of someone you admire
Ugh her mind is so beautiful the way she puts everything into words is just beautiful. She is beautiful this woman is an amazing, smart, talented and genuine person and I've come to love her so much😭💖
i’m 20 minutes in and wow it’s my fav interview of all time. and I feel like Dan also feels very comfortable bc he talks more than with other artists
This interview is a true interview, I love it. They discussed so many issues, it's amazing. Keep it up!
She uses so many great, inventive metaphors to explain everything. She's the official 'Metaphor Queen'!! 🙌
This interview is amazing! I am loving Halsey more and more everyday! 💜
I love Zach's interviews he always asks the best questions it almost feels like he takes them out of the fans' heads
She never fails to impress me. I freaking love her, she is most awesome girl.
When you talk about emotionally maturity talk about HALSEY💜💜💜
Halsey, you're the best thing to happen to the BTS ARMY💜💜💜
That is so sweet.
Aaaa zach sang i don't know how i lived before i found your channel. Best interviewer!!
I've never been an avid fan of Halsey but now I just might. The way she articulates her thoughts and her progressive attitude gives me actual chills. It's not often that i see a celebrity use their platform to this extent and I'm really appreciative of it. Wow.
I love Halsey so much. Her music has had such a big impact on my life.
I have never been sadder to see an hour, ten minutes and 18 seconds end so quickly. This woman is truly incredible. Also, Zach, you're amazing. To all three of you, ARMY supports youuuu
Halsey, please convince bts to do interview here. She's so smart, its unfair
Lots of love, Zach!
this is the best interview she’s ever done thank you zach for being so amazing to her!
this interview is honestly amazing...
to be frank, I did click on this just for BTS, but now I've ended up listening to the entire thing, and now I'm probably gonna go listen to a ton of her songs and add them to all my playlists because she is amazing and I'm so happy BTS is friends with her, and collaborated with her.
Not that that was ever in question ( for me)
She's from another world wow... I love listen to her :((
Wow, Zach and Halsey really get what’s messed up here in America 😭 where have I been, Halsey I already stan you!!
I love it all.
;
Goddamnit she is so smart. And down to earth. Just seems so real and open. 🖤
The part of the mom and the 9 yr old daughter was beautiful and hit the nail on the head honestly
how do i freaking love this woman any more. and zach geez give this man an award
They're intelligent, they're funny, they're tasteful, they're charitable..."
"They're protective. As they should be."
the actual way i love her 🥺😔✊🏼💜 and him too both Halsey and Zach are a true blessing to armys and we are so thankful to have ppl like them speak up for all of us.
I would love a Halsey podcast where she just talked about anything and everything. She's just so fun and fascinating. Can't get enough.
Such a good interview. Thank you so much. Both Halsey and Zach are intelligent, knowledgeable, and understanding. I especially was so touched by the kind words she said about Army. I'm really happy and grateful.
90% commenters are Army as i see.... so lovely to see how armys supporting her...💜💜💜💜
She has a heart of gold...🙏💜
Love the Him&I comment at the end! That song has been permadeleted off my playlist lol! Big facts no one misses it! Love you Halsey!!
at the end when she was talking about the fans who have grown with her, it really hit home because I've literally been listening to her for as long as I can remember and she's such an important role model and person in my life.
I wish bts and zach had a long interviews like this 😭😭😭😭
Nam Jeonbae But, only RM speaks English. And I don’t think they can be as blatantly honest as Halsey.
Zach has spoiled me to all other interviewers. I crave these kind of real, authentic conversations, and Halsey just brought it all to the table. I feel so satiated. And now I want to be friends with both of them, lol, having coffee and fixing the world.
Thank you Zach - your interviews are so refreshing.
me too. can you imagine? it would be amazing
I already adore her, but I just fell more and more in love with her message from this interview.
I love listening to Halsey interviews, especially her interviews here, because I always come away with a little more knowledge and a little more to think about. She's absolutely incredible, and this show fosters those conversations really, really well
Can listen 2 Halsey speak for days nonstop...such a brilliant being❤
24:29 @ 100 letters & yelling in the crowd made me cry.
Collaboration with Halsey is one of the best thing happened to BTS... She is so genuine and soooo cute 😘😘😘... Lots of love from ARMY 💜💜💜
i'm back here again, rewatching this and i just wanna cry. been tearing up for the most part. these are just facts. halsey is truly, truly amazing. and this platform too. like handsdown killing the game with this kind of deep content.
