no, not really. i mean it looks fine on stages that are supposed to have synthenic lightning like for instance chemical plant, there it really shines (pun unintended), but the rest suffers from summer/morning light syndrome which is blinding and makes me wish there were more sonic stages set in forests, autumn, nights, and sunsets.
Special Stage Has a WAY more interesting story than heroes in my opinion. Great gameplay as well. Oh and don’t forget the soundtrack. Games not perfect but it did a lot more good than bad
See I wouldn't mind Sonic Team reusing levels if they were from all over Sonic's history like this and Generations. There has been so many iconic Sonic levels that would be dope in HD and with the boost formula, other than Green Hill Zone and Chemical Plant Zone.

Damn, with the stage remakes like the adventure ocean level, it really proves it did not need boost at all to be fast or fun. Boost actually makes the stage worse in this case

funny how we (me included) dont like the boosting like a maniac mentality sonic forces was shittily built on *but* the first lvl is a mix of a bit of caution, skill, and boosting which makes me wonder why forces wasnt like the 1st lvl in this video. u have the boosting kids love and u have not bottom of the barrel simple like the forces we got. this is a perfect mix IMO kids can boost glide over the stages if they want and people like me can explore and take out *every* enemy

Sonic forces 2 1) Better combat 2) Better customization (including adjusting the height of your character) 3) Cac fights like sonic/ shadow (no need of a wispon) 4) Bring all bosses from the sonic games back with new ones but the main one will be Nazo 5) Have sonic and shadow discover a new pair of rings that allows them to make Shadic (super Shadic/ hyper Shadic) 6) Have a classic version of everyone come help including a classic version of your cac 7) Have levels and areas strictly for your character only and others with others. (Everyone has a part. Cac story with all the levels and bosses they face, sonic story with all the levels and bosses he fights, etc and make them challenging) 8) Cac hedgehog can use boost and zip a collect rings like sonic/ Shadow and also go super like them too (basically the hedgehog is like the Saiyan race in XenoVerse) 9) Make your character new (Have a new cac joining the sonic forces fighting along side your old cac) 10) Add in a sonic heroes gameplay in ( with 3 characters you can swap from) depending on who your cac is will depend on if you're a speed, power, or fly type. Will be listed at the bottom. 11) MAKE TAILS USEFUL AND NOT LAME 12) Make some complicated boss battles that actually takes some effort to beat 13) Online pvp 14) Online boss fights (story mode bosses and some that wasn't in the game to make it more interesting) 15) Make skills/ abilities and ultimates for both original characters and cac to boost gameplay and add unlockable skills that you can learn from levels, original characters, and leveling up. The most important one 16) Actually take your time to finish the game and not rush so you can release the perfect game. I have a problem with my hedgemodmanager. Every time I change mods, it delete my save file and I must ALL complete ONE MORE TIME !! Can someone help me ?
... I'm damned: that didn't change a thing. Fortunately, I have the the forces mod installer, I can't load the ring boost gauge and when I want to deactivate a mod, I need to deactivate them all. @@dizzydaisy909 So far, modding for this game is extremely limited. The PC version is also pretty hard to handle, controls-wise. But other than that, just adding better assets for an HD-UI or better textures makes the game crash and become unplayable at certain levels. And besides that, Shadow the Hedgehog doesn't only consist of Assets/Textures; you also need to have 3D-models, specific game mechanics, items, cutscenes, menus, enemies, AI, game modes, stages and more. Just putting some assets into a game doesn't do the trick.
There's a large amount of new level design here for a start and I was referring to current Sonic Team, the guys that made Forces. This isn't their work.

Where are these custom lines coming from are they just in the game and they just didn't use them in the end?
Some of them are taken from other games and some are just taken from other stages
