Wow, this is pretty cool! I’ve always been interested in aviation. Who knows, maybe I’ll go to an aviation school someday

Beware. These type of places get you all psyched up, and you invest a ton of money and time. Even if you're one of the lucky few who gets hired onto some small regional airline, the pay is terrible. And if you're a white male you'll probably never get hired.

…you also forgot about the $90k student loan you’re going to need to take out, in order to go to the school. That is assuming you get all your certifications; PPL, IR, MEI, CFI, etc..Also you would probably need your 1st class Medical as well.
Great school none the less 😎

Very cool! Isn’t Spartan in Tulsa, OK? Last year, we had someone from the college come down to Oklahoma Aviation Academy and speak to us about what it’s like. I found it pretty cool.

If they tell you that the Oklahoma promise scholarship covers you, it’s a lie, it won’t cover it. Starting in August they will have classes from home because their enrollment rose to 60 students but the quality is low, it is not worth it for all this money.

More interested in the mechanic part, and less so the pilot part, but this looks fascinating

Do they still teach the E6B flight computer or just use an IPad?

You can use both. You can get a digital one or use a physical one.

A physical one is needed for the written tests, though an electronic version is allowed similar to a scientific calculator

Why are you wearing an airline pilot uniform I’ve never seen that before

Looks like they are practicing to be commercial pilots is my guess. Chandelles and lazy 8 are not private pilot maneuvers. Also pilots are weird people. Never met a pilot that wasn't a bit crazy

They are studying for a commercial license and their school probably wants them to be more professional. The two bars on their shoulder indicate they are student pilots.

You should try to listen closer.

      That's likely your personal issue.

It's not an airline uniform. While it may look similar it's used to get the students into the mindset of professional pilots. Lots of aviation schools and ab initio centers dress the same.
