Hi, I can't actually describe how amazed and excited I was when I discovered your videos. I am living in Auckland but plan to live in Adelaide soon. I come from Corsica and I used to forage with my Dad when I was young, (Porcini, brown cap boletus, morel, chanterelle, and so on). I miss the hunt and the taste very much! I wanted to do it with my daughter but here in NZ it is quite poor at this level. You gave me hope. That's cool ! Isn't risky with snakes? my wife is freaking out. Your videos are great. keep editing. Regards Anthony
Absolutely wonderful.. At $50.00 a kilo at the Centeral Market in Adelaide.. you guys Don well.. I still haven’t found any at Stirling yet….! You definitely getting there a day before ME.. 😔 LOL CHEERS FAMO59 👍🍻⛏🤓
So sad the season is coming to an end 😭 Some days you stumble across a patch within half hour hunting and then walk hours and nothing- on a positive note it's good exercise and nature discoveries! It's definitely a game of chance 😄
@@tubsgalore5115 Agree. Mushroom foraging is a game of luck. I recently went looking for 3 hours and found only one. These videos are edited and don't really show the time and effort invested in the passion/obsession lol.
You mean cooking wise? We treat them like any other mushroom and use them in pasta, soup, pies, etc... But to really taste it's uniqueness, we recommended fry in olive oil with garlic and butter.
Big Pooorciniiiii, ;-)))) greetings from Shanghai

Thanks Anthony. Yes, there are snakes here and my wife hates them. Luckily they don't usually come out during mushroom season 😉.
Can you show us how you clean your porcini it is satisfying to watch.
Thanks for the feedback. Will bring the tripod next season and film some cleaning action 😁
Were their oak trees around or just pines?
@@TheC920996mmkj just pines in that location.
