MCT Cold Loop Check - Control Circuit Testing & Power Up

I demonstrate how to test a basic electrical circuit to ensure that the circuit protective devices do not trip when the circuit is energized. An ohmmeter is used to check the resistance of the circuit when the circuit is operated cold. This type of test is called a cold loop test and can be used on many types of circuits in the field. The test is performed on one of our motor control trainer boards.
