Taking Bassem Elbitar's point further, I'll say, has anyone ever seen Federer out of breath even after a very long, gruelling rally, in which his opponent made him run from one end of the court to the other? I've never. One of the most beautiful features of his game IS his effortlesness. His movements on court are so well co-ordinated, so well judged, that he hardly uses any extra energy in moving around the court, scarcely ever breaking a sweat. It's probably his superhuman anticipation of the opponent's movements that give Federer the advantage of being at the precise spot, inthe exact physical position required to counter the other player's shot, in the process, expending the minimal of energy, and creating a very soothing visual.
    What a great, GREAT player!

I’ve always been a Fed fan but the better I get at tennis, the more I understand why the hell he’s so damn good. Every ball he plays probably feels like he’s so much smarter than you. Watching others play tennis is like watching them do math. A lot of them are great at it too. But very few players make it feel like you’re watching something artistic. That’s what this is.

I was one step from shouting and running like a crazy man last year when Federer had MP on his serve. It just slipped away. A point like this to seal a historic win would have been legendary.
