    Hello, my name is Orin Jarad. And I am an African-American to whom would like to become a Ghanaian Diaspora with Dual Citizenship.
    My end goal is to establish myself in Ghana. I have plans to start with building two (five story) residential/commercial buildings with locations starting with a town right outside of Kumasi, then Tamale and finally Accra.
    My mission is to establish and cultivate the upgraded of economical means for the people surrounding such towns. I believe in the parable of, "Feed a man fish, then he will not hunger for a day. But teach a man to fish, then he will not hunger forever”.
    I write to you in hopes of helping me with direction… instructions as to how to make this all happen.
    Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

    thats what it is about Africa. when you step your legs on the land, Africa immediately becomes you and you become Africa.. its like you're reconnecting with with your long lost mother and your mother has finally found you. Thats Africa for you.

    Hello, my brotha. I'm studying for my Masters in Europe and have many colleagues from Africa in my department (African Studies) who have really impressed me and deepened my desire to visit the motherland; I would like to find an internship for this winter---just a few weeks. Is your organization in a position to offer such an "experience"? I'm ready to pack a bag and learn as much as possible as soon as the second or third week of January. Looking forward to your reply. Blessings.

    I am sure youtube had no reason to mute this accept for the mandate that they have been given to keep African Americans from embracing their African roots. It's sad that RUclips seems to be muting so many videos. It is turning into a nightmare. People are getting fed up. I wonder who is coming to give them competition. There are a couple of new ones coming up. This is not a good look for America.

  • @kojodadzie5175
    @kojodadzie5175 6 лет назад

    You know its great when you can make it outside your home in another country. My story was the opposite. I am a Ghanaian by Birth, currently an American Citizen lived in America for a while. Was married to a Native Houstonian for 18 years took her to Ghana to live. Both Lands, still have them, plan was to make Ghana my home again and to also give this African American Woman a chance to experience the life that she never had in a different way and to also use that as a base to bring other African Americans in to Ghana and to use my Ghanaian citizenship to help out in transitioning all of them into the system. What did I get? Got burned by this woman. I spent most of my time working in the Middle East to save money and bring it home so we can all be happy and have our dream realized. While I was gone she was hanging around with Shady Ghanaians and all kind of Characters dealing with local spirituality, sometime I myself and family never get involved. Make a long story short I lost $200,000 US Dollars Cash money that I had saved from working overseas from 2003 to 2012. YES. All because of the choices that this Black American Woman from Houston decided to take selfishly. I KNOW your question is how this this happen? Did you not have a Ghanaian Family that could assist her while you are gone? She rejected everyone thinking she knew the system better than even the people that lived there. She got into quarrels and fights with everyone including the African American sisterhood who lived in Prampram, Accra and Akosombo. People this has put a bitter taste in my mouth, I don't ever intend to take any foreigner weather Black or White with me to Africa, never again in my life. Its been a bitter experience that I rarely talk about. But that is my story as a Ghanaian American my experience with a Native Houstonian that I took to Ghana. I could have left her in the states like most people do and when there by myself. Even though initially she convinced me to have us move there and it was a total disaster. I currently have a Toyota Tundra that she sold without my permission and since 2012 the vehicle is out there being used by a Shady Ghanaian So called Pastor that I am fighting to retrieve because he did not pay the whole price for the vehicle and just got it with him and since the country is almost lawless. This is my experience as a Ghanaian American with an African American Wife in my own Native Land

      People can be wicked no matter who they are - don't let that taint your heart. Some people don't know a good thing even if it's staring then in the face. Material things can be restored. Carry on my brother and leave that behind. I can't wait to go to Africa. It's my dream and I will soon

      You can open up your own clinic. Go to a small town and rent a place and run your own clinic. With the knowledge you have, you can doit. My junior mom returned from England as a midwifery and opened up a clinic in small town and delivers over 1 million babies since 1974. She became very wealthy and when she passed in 2011, the whole town came to celebrate.
      Visit and start looking into it and save, save,save. #STOP BUYING UNNECESSARY STUFFS IN THE US.

    • @Agboka

      To open a pharmacy, all is needed is a certified pharmacist. Ordinary people with no pharmacy background used to be the owners of what we call "Drug Stores", and the new directive is for those business people to have a certified pharmacist before they can be be given a license to operate. So why can't you open it yourself and experience what it is to work for yourself? like this advice?

      Hello Sherrin, your situation and mine are the same sort of. I retired January of this year and went to Ghana for the first time in February. I have visited 3 times this year, the last for a full month. Since February I have leased a house, installed backup water and power supply, installed air conditioning, shipped a car, registered a LLC, obtained Residency and a work permit, and just this month shipped enough to fully furnish my house. My email is wchaney52@hotmail.com. I can tell you everything you need to know about getting established in Ghana.

    You cant up and go into Africa with just a passport and clothes on your back NO. You must go there with something at least to keep you afloat until you find a job which is very hard. i say take at least $3000 with you. that should hold you up for a couple of months if you spend wisely (if you are relocating). the last thing you want to do is go into africa and get financially stuck. I advice for anyone looking to relocate to anywhere in africa to first communicate with an african friend or african connection to see what type of business is lucrative for you to get into then you can invest some of that money there and have your own small business. but to be coming all the way from america into africa with no money and just clothes on your back is silly. even though there are programs to first help you settle, it will not be there for ever. Africa is a hustle land there are no freebees like here.

      Yes You Definitely Want to Bring Settling Money. I Came With About $5k But I Came Alone. If Are Coming With a Family and Kids You May Want to Start Off With 10-12k But Compared to the Cost of Living in America Its Literally Pennies

    • @mejustbeingme1207

      +Jovaun Hardin yes that's exactly what it is

    • @mejustbeingme1207
      @mejustbeingme1207 6 лет назад +3

      +Jovaun Hardin hay just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate you taking the time to speak positive about your trip abroad and your future plans in returning and seeing about your business over there in Ghana. wanted to also point out that my initial comment was for the others on the post. I notice some people think it's as easy as packing you bags and leaving. financially they have to be ready. I'm from Nigeria and I would never up and visit without at least 3k on me.
      I have long learned that some have gone with no money thinking it would be easy to start a life and to their surprise they were wrong. I live in Houston and I wouldn't even dare relocate to Dallas without being financially equipped to settle in a new city talkless of outside the country. so that applies to anywhere.
      anyway I'm excited for your future endeavors in Africa. but please when you all address your people here about traveling to Africa make sure to stress the need of money. Africa is not a place you want to get stuck penniless. Thanks

    I'm curious. Are people who have repatriated able to collect social security from all of the years that they worked in the U.S...is that possible..or do people just forget about their SS, and just give it up?

      If You Are Already Still Collecting It You Can Keep Collecting It. If You Arent Collecting It Yet, Chances Are You'll Never See It Anyway. Time to Go...

      Thank you. Another question..could you possibly do a video on inexpensive places to stay for people traveling to Ghana? I will be arriving in GH with nothing but a shit load of American greenbacks, and my cat. I want to find a cheap place (like maybe a hostal) to stay while i am determining which area of Ghana i want to buy my land in and live. Thanks again.

      If you're collecting social security through your bank account already, you can access your money through any ATM port in Ghana. they don't have to know you're not there if that becomes a problem. Or keep a phone from the US that you could pay for through an auto pay system to your bank account in that way you can talk to social security from your US local phone from Ghana.

      Ask for irrefutable, empirical, primary EVIDENCE that Afrikans sold all these millions of their own people to those who were conquering & colonizing THEM.

      @@harambeegardens8705 I would like to know who sold my ancestors (the African people) to the people from the other side of the ocean(westeners). Where can find books with evidence and historical prove of this act . I would like that the books are not written from Western vieuw. All books that I read says that the Africans sold their own people and one African man told on tv that his ancestors capture other tribes and sold them..This would help me with healing.
