You're right about it sounding like a mainstream, radio song. This is one of their mainstream songs that is a radio friendly sounding song.
This song was also released in 2014 and they released their first album in 2003
I love how people venture out and listen to thing they don't listen to or understand. Keep the open mind going 👍🏻

With that being said. I'm a big AX7 fan. But I think they've all done this song. Maybe see what others have reacted to and pick a different song from that band. Theres soooo many great songs from these guys. Many that aren't the "Hits".

never been a A7X fan.. but they have masterpieces and i highly recommend their last album "the stage". a conceptual album.. a nice quiet and beautiful song is "roman sky", which talks about a dude burned up like in 1400 for saying we're not alone. the truth is that we are not, i saw it with my eyes long ago.
their videoclip of "the stage", which opens the album, is a puppet show telling "the fantastic history" of we. i think the video and music are art in its pure form

I don't really like A7X, BUT there are a few songs from the Jimmy Sullivan era (the former drummer who passed away in 2010 at age 27 and was absolutely incredible) I really dig, and when I heard that one I was like holy shit .... The drums in this song are so unexistent compared to what The Rev used to do, check "Blinded in Chains", that song is absolutely killer

What the song is really about is that a corrupt government is over thrown by the ppl. Then in turn becomes corrupt themselves. Because POWER always corrupts.
The lyric video was not accurate a few times. For example, near the end where it said, "I am fierce" it's supposed to be "iron fist to rule them all".

I noticed multiple errors right off the bat there is probablly more that I may have missed 1. 3:10 the correct lyric is "death is riding into town with armor" 2. 2:48 the actual lyric is "born again, but it's too late to atone" 3. 3:54 the actual lyric is "dare escape and learn the price to be paid" 4: 3:59 the actual lyric is "let the water flow with shades of red now" 5. Repeat if number 1 like I said there is probablly morw that I may have missed if you notice one leave the timestamp and ill try to fix it hopefully next time the creator actually puts a bit of effort into his video
