I'm really pleased to see how well it holds up! It does lack some quality of life features that were implemented in later games (better jumping controls, mainly), but it's still a great experience playing in 2023.
Truth! I miss some of the quality of life features of later games like better jumping controls. And I'm learning that pretty much every villager lies to you and most of the clues are useless.

The 80s had crazy art concepts
I love the pixel art. Its amazing what they could pull off using just one or two colors.
