Hey, appreciate this tutorial. I’ve been on Streamlabs for a while it’s a lot more user-friendly, but I heard it can damage your computer, so I’m transferring to OBS. Now I’ve got to figure out how to use a media source keep up the content I know this is a few months old, but still appreciate it.

i have an issue with my obs that none of stream elements nor twitch alerts are showing up on my stream and its frustrating. I followed the step by step guides you have made for both and its the same with any other creator out there. Is there a way to fix this matter?
Same thing happened to me. During my stream, I had no idea that someone followed me! When I went to go back to look at the stream, I saw the alert pop up. So that sucks I didn’t notice it the first time. We do have to figure this out.

@@siredquinn When I was streaming, I didn’t see the follow alert pop up on my stream. I did notice it on my phone in my stream manager activity on Twitch. When I go back to watch the stream, I see the alerts all of a sudden. However, recently one time, I did SEE the alerts pop up during my live stream, but there was NO sound. So I can’t really figure out what the problem is, but it needs to be solved somehow. If it works for most people, then I can’t see a reason why it can’t work for me or for others….
Found a fix if your audio is not working. Go to advance audio on your browser alert. Then change your monitor off to monitor and output under audio monitoring. Hope it helped spent 5 hours tryna figure it out.

I've followed all the steps in your video, but my alerts still aren't showing up in OBS? They don't show up when I send test alert or during stream. I can hear audio, but there's no visual. Any suggestions?

Hey Curry! I hope you’re doing great! I’m having an issue with my Twitch alerts; the raid alert isn’t showing up on my overlays when I test it. Do you have any idea how to fix that?
I have an issue with the audio. Once I click control audio via obs, it’s muted and I can’t hear the notif when I click send test alert but if I unclick it, and I resend the test alert I can hear it in obs but it’s WAYY too loud. How do I fix this? I just want my audio to be lower than it is because every time someone follows the audio for the notification is so loud

@@zelrius8714 chance the notification audio in twitch. Just like he did in the video. Go to ALERTS -> PICTURE & SOUND - NOTIFICATION SOUND. I put it from 50% to 28% and its bettert now
Just disable the box Control audio via obs
@@dmh3 Go to OBS -> audio mixer -> advanced audio properties -> select monitor and output on your alert audio monitoring options. Worked for me, hope it will work for you aswell ;)

First thing i wanna say thank you for your videos they are very good and i've learned a lot. I've done the alerts today and streamed for 4 h got 4 new followers but the alerts didn't work...i was trying to figure it out but cant seem to find the solution. Any ideas? :)

if you are using OBS and will be using twitch alerts then you do not need to use stream labs alerts, you can just follow this video

Hi! I followed all your steps - when i click control audio with obs its muted when i unclick it i hear it. But the biggest issue is i have nothing appearing on the screen 🙈

Hello, i had same issue but i figured something out. Click the 3 dots on your alerts in the audio mixer > look for the audio monitoring on Alerts and switch to (monitor and output)

Question regarding Alerts, for anyone who's able to answer. I've got my alerts working and popping up. But whenever I test them, all the alerts pop up as that alert. So I set up the Follower Alert to pop up, and put the Subscriber Alert to pop up next to it. But when I test it, the Follower Alert pops up as a Subscriber Alert, and vice versa. Is that.. just a thing? Or can I expect that during the live stream. If so, how does one fix that. lol

I have not figured it out yet. Same thing keeps happening. I've yet to go live and test things, so I'm still unsure if it's just a "Test" thing just to show the alerts and how they'll work and not necessarily specify the alerts seperately. No idea.@@ninjadude2516
