    Love the booth! We’ve been kicking around the idea of building one as well!
    Would love to see more of the building process- if you filmed any.
    I know there are many ways to build a frame and aluminum is great! Did you weld or connect frame another way? Would love to see more of it!

    Love these booth builds. There’s only two things that different as I’m building mine right now, 1: I’m leaving 4u of rack space to run cables about 4 inches deeper into the booth so the cables won’t be tripping my or risking getting ripped out, and 2: I’m doing a full cover for a flush top. Like a hoerboard

    Great booth. Your last one gave a lot of inspiration for what I currently run (not the same, but definitely some great parts that I took away). You gave me some great ideas on what to change up should I decide to make a new one.

    Hi Man Love the craftsmanship on this! What type of fasteners did you go with for the 80/20 and how are they holding up so far? I was thinking of doing some type of gusset bracing and wanted to take your opinion?

    • @DJLoStax
      @DJLoStax  2 года назад +1

      Just self tapping screws in the ends of the pieces. It’s all held up really well. One season down and everything is still nice and tight

    • @dynamicexcitement
      @dynamicexcitement Год назад

      Any recommendations on specific tapping screws/washers? Did you get the ends of the 80/20 machine drilled?

    • @DJLoStax
      @DJLoStax  Год назад

      I used the self tapping screws from 80/20 to hold everything together. The casters I used 1inch 1/4-20 bolts with lock washers. Those I did have to drill the holes out for.

      @@DJLoStax Ok thanks for the info! Did you buy them pre-cut or did you cut them yourself? I'm looking at both options.

    • @DJLoStax
      @DJLoStax  2 года назад +1

      I got them pre cut but you could cut them yourself pretty easily. Aluminum is a pretty soft metal. The cost to have them cut off want that much more and worth the time savings in my opinion. It just takes more planning on the front end so you get the right measurements

  • @DJTaso

    • @DJLoStax

      You cannot. But what you can do is search the Chinese manufacturers name or try generic and go through until you find one that works for that fixture. That’s what I had to do for my uplights. Took some trial and error but I finally found the right one.
