      DJ Big Hoss I've added yours into my description. Once I figure out how to add links to end of a video, I'll do that too 😀

      Hey thanks to both of you guys, this is SUCH a cheap alternative where there is tons of room for modifications. Definitely appreciate you guys putting up these videos! Time to start my first facade for my shows :)

    Man thanks to sharing this video I was looking for a video like this how to build my own dj facade 👍👍👍👌

    Awesome job, the one and only thing that I would’ve added would’ve been very flat wood molding on the DJ facing side to cover the trimmed cloth and give it a cleaner look on the inside. Other than that, you did an amazing job and pulled it off before doing a wedding!

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  5 лет назад +2

      Yea, I thought about that. I ended up capping it all off with 1" felt tape on that side. Cleaned up look, and didn't add any extra bulk or weight. Almost a year later, I've used this thing a ton and get compliments on it all the time. It's working great!

    Do you have the Size Dimensions? Building this ASAP. Great Video on both you and DJ Big Hoss.

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  6 лет назад

      I make mention of rough dimensions in the video. Specifics will depend on TV you get. I bought the TV first and built around that.

    I built a simple one without the TV in it but wish I'd found this vid first, will deffo be looking into the felt wrapping myself cos I've got black paint rubbing off issues, I also stapled really thick strapping on instead of using hinges but that's just personal preference I think

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  5 лет назад

      Matt Trains I like strap idea for hinges. I bet that works well

      @@JSAdventures to an extent but you have to pick up all panels at once else they sag and start to twist but so far its held together

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  5 лет назад

      Matt Trains oh yea, I could see that. Ok I'll stick to my solid hinges

    The video you said that you had 3 hours before a wedding. You're supposed to DJ... And you're STILL messing with the facade? You live dangerously my friend lol. Good build

    Awesome! I’ve started my build. Question: what dimensions are your side panels?

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  5 лет назад

      Brandon Ross I don't recall exactly, but it's really up to you. Something around 20" or so if I recall correctly. Next time I pull it out I'll try to measure if I think about it.

    On the mounting bracket to hold the TV better to use a wing Nut, so no tools would be needed. Overall great design.

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  5 лет назад

      David Rosario only reason I didn't use wing nut was to not have sharp wing edges dig into fabric when folded up. I actually use a plastic gripable but now. crank it down hand right, works like a dream.

    How much did you pay for everything?

    • @JSAdventures
      @JSAdventures  5 лет назад +1

      Dbo&QueTV most expensive part was the TV. A decent lightweight 43" cost me about $200. Then the rest was about $100 roughly, so about $300 total.
