I think the stage is what is giving the effect of zooming in. I think the stage converts the game into a Tekken-style mode

I’m assuming that the zoom in thing when kayuza grabs an opponent that will be on 1 on 1 battles on every stage but not more then 1 person tho that’s my prediction.

Same. Tekken 2 and 3 are a huge part of my childhood too. Fuck them. Meanwhile they're like "give us Crash for a Sony rep!!!" , completely ignoring that Kazuya does that even better since Tekken was tied to Sony for far longer than Crash was. And Kazuya actually has a moveset potential unlike garbage like Crash.

That's all that I was able to identify/predict. Get ready for a hard character to learn.
I'm calling it now. He's going to have two buttons instead of one button for his tilts and other normal attacks. A is going to be punches and B is going to be kicks. Special moves are going to straight up require the command inputs. I legit have no idea how in the world they would fit in all of these moves otherwise lmao.
Also I'm pretty sure his devil moves are going to be his smash attacks.
1:21 he does his Tekken sidestep 2 which looks like an up smash here.
He turns into devil kazuya briefly and then gets tekken rage, so I don't think his devil form is tied to rage. He probably just does it for certain moves, and I'm guessing all of his smash attacks are going to have him transform into devil for a split second.
1:17 yeah that does look like a down smash
1:18 that looks like a forward smash
At later percents it looks like he has Tekken Rage, so it's probably going to be like one of the busted buffs we've seen in other characters like Terry where he just gets extra moves.
In Tekken when you hit low health rage buffs your damage until you spend it on either a rage drive (usually a super safe, absolutely busted move that's good on shield) or a rage art (like a final smash)
He does a rage drive at 1:31
and he does a rage art at 1:35
He better have a gigantic move list like in tekken

Seeing how faithful Sakurai is to characters and their franchises he will probably put most of them in it or as many as he is capable at least.

Funny thing, he's the one from his family I usally don't like. I like Heihachi, I kinda like Jin, but I could never stand Kazuya.
But in the end, I'm hyped that Namco finally got a second rep in their own game and I am going to give him a chance.

Heihachi's voice actor is dead, apparently, so that's probably not possible.
Heihachi couldn't have been an echo though since he has no Devil Gene. Jin might have been though
Although they have the same Karate styles (Mishima Karate), Heihachi's and Kazuya's are different from each other's moves. Obviously, the biggest difference is Kazuya's has the Devil mode while Heihachi's doesn't. There's more differences to list down, but it's enough that Heihachi can't really be an echo fighter.
@@jolitero Jin would definitely NOT be an echo. Jin hasn't been a Kazuya clone for decades, not since Tekken Tag 1. His entire moveset revolves around him hating the Mishima fighting style

I honestly didn't know Kazuya had a devil form.
I still prefer Jin though
Kazuya has the devil stuff as part of his base moveset since Tekken 4 as far as I know and he has done it since the first game.
I have more of a connection with Jin myself, but anyone from the main Mishima trio are fine and picking the first protagonist who also has devil attributes is cool.

Fyi, "We already know his overhead spikes" translates in the Spanish subs as "We already know that his spikes over the head." without even a verb to even have a complete sentence.
Later it also says "double" instead of "Devil" and "ten eight combos" instead of "10-'it combos" like it was run through a speech to text.

It seems like every time kazuya gets a ko he gets powered up slightly.Thats how his demon form will work to get it.Every ko he gets a slight power up till he is able to transform.Might be other factors as well.A meter maybe too.
