can someone explain the first jump bug to me? i looked with triggers shown and the whole place down there has death trigger, even if u noclip down safely u still die. how does muty survive? does jumpbug completely negate the death trigger?

The trigger has some unique properties set that allows you to straight up walk on it. I believe to preserve CPU performance the trigger only checks for the player in intervals, so with correct timing, you can even walk down there. Most runners nowadays do the jumpbug and just walk it off like that, but here, I straight up took no chances and only touched the trigger when jumpbugging. Basically an even harder and slower strat then the others do but I know I'm not running the risk of death if I'm consistent.
Also forgot, you have slightly less than a second to jumpbug and haul ass out of the trigger before it activates again if you hit your timing correctly.

@@poolbwoy6585 I personally rebind my mouse buttons to +jump and -duck to strafe easier and to time it better. Also some of these jumpbugs work at other framerates than 100 FPS.
