People need to remember, that she had to learn, memorize and perfect years worth music in an extremely short period of time. And she has done it amazingly. Remember she started out as a 14 year old fan like the rest of us. She said that Chester was one of her Idols and is the reason she sings like she does.

Waiting for the End must really mean a lot to her, she gets emotional each time she sings it. In London she really cried quite a bit when singing this song.
One of the cool things about this tour is that it is thematic, almost like a concept tour: it's about something breaking and then being rebuilt. Kintsugi, the name of one of the transitions, is the japanese art of fixing broken ceramic by using precious metals - the idea is not to hide the imperfection, but highlight it in a way that makes it _more_ .
"I feel in a weird way like at peace with how right it feels" So well said. But at the same time I'm lost for words how happy and nostalgic and yet moving forward it feels.
I was there. In two days 1700km in car. But was worthed! And that was perfect! And that screaming Emily, Emily, Emily from crowd. Oh got! And new song? For League of Legends? Thats is actually dream come true...
You need to watch her doing Given Up in LA Kia Forum! That was AWESOME! Chester himself could often not do the 17sek scream live, so i am completely impressed by her in the LA show! And here we get her scream in Heavy is the crown! YES!!
Brad's reason for not touring anymore, from what I've read, is just that he's been more introverted and isn't as comfortable in large, loud crowds as he used to be. Not much more than that. He still wanted to be in the band, so they just got a touring guitarist so Brad can keep doing all the non-crowd work. Linkin Park being compared to the Wiggles is not something I ever thought I'd hear 😂 After her nerves got the better of her in Waiting for the End during the first reunion show, hearing her absolutely *nail* one of my favorite LP songs now... it brings so much joy to my heart 💗 She may not have done the 17 second scream on Given Up, but she did an almost 11 second scream for Heavy is the Crown, so... yeah 🤘 I've always preferred the Reanimation remix of My December to the original; the original just never hooked me for some reason. But this version... Emily and Mike's acoustic ballad version... is absolutely stunning. Between this and her Lost ballad, I need them to include at least one ballad on every album from From Zero onwards, please and thanks. Her voice is *so beautiful* with the softer ballads 💗 I agree: Heavy Is The Crown is already better, in my opinion, than Emptiness Machine. I also agree about that rising tone in the chorus; there's something about it, after the relatively monotone lines before it, that just *hit.* I want to say "hits beautifully", but I've already called her voice beautiful, so I need a thesaurus 😂
@@Roguenjosh Yes, from what i read, brad wasn't always comfortable in loud spaces, which is also the reason he always was wearing the big Headphones on Stage...
@@dekode1857 The conflicts brad had with it aren't well documented but are there. He was always the least talkative of the band, and the few times you see him in an interview situation even its obvious he's not hugely into it. But on stage, even when you know why the big headphones, etc, you can see the joy and happiness in the moment, in the art, in the revelry. Its unfortunate its become to hard for him cause Im sure some part of him would love those bursts of the good emotions back, but it also makes total sense. And its so cool this whole thing where he's still involved. Cause it means that he can, likely, if he ever has those moments and is on location where there will be a show, at least step on stage and play with his friends for a song or two if he wants. Which is something I could see happening now and again, but good for Brad for taking stock of himself and being honest and open, and awesome of the rest of the guys to figure out a work around where he can still stay a key player in his own way, but avoid that live stage stuff if its that sort of struggle for him.
Fun fact Mr. Hahn had a gopro strapped to his chest the entire concert. He posted small snippets of it on his IG stories which looked so cool tbh. I would love to see the entire concert from this pov. I really hope they release the footage.
I was waiting for your inevitable reaction to one of their live shows. Honestly the only thing racing through my mind when listening to this new LP perform is "The world is healing and I want to cry tears of joy". God Emily sounds great; Even though I did not expect LP to return and for another singer to attempt to honour chester's legacy, i'm glad she is the one to do it When I was really young (like 10 to 11) LP came to Singapore to perform during the F1 season. My dad was a huge Linkin Park fan so he brought us to see the show, and the one thing I regret about it all was not appreciating it as much as I should have at the time. It was around the period when New Divide was one of their newest releases and that was one of the only highlights I remember because I was so young. Looking back, it was the only time LP came to my country and I wish I was old enough to actually remember that entire show. The brightside was that that concert made me a bigger fan of LP than I already was and LP became the definitive artist that I listened to on repeat during my formative years.
The audience was so loud during "In the End" that I couldn't hear Emily anymore, but I was also singing my soul out! What an amazing show this was, and I was part of it! 😍
This was filmed just a few seats to my left. In the End was the craziest thing ever - the crowd was SOOO loud and sang everything so perfectly. Craziest thing I've seen in a long time
It’s so amazing to have a band take almost a decade off and come back with a new singer and not miss a beat. Two new songs and they are both so good. This new album is going to be hot. Lava hot.
That version of My December is amazing. I could not be happier with everything. It just feels right and warms my heart. I will be here for every live reaction to full shows you do of LP. Thank you man it's great experiencing with you.
Yeah I don’t think that song is her strongest. Something about the vocals in that song messes with her. She does amazing on everything else though and she is getting better at The Catalyst compared to her live stream performance where her voice completely went out on her. There are so many factors that can mess with your voice as a vocalist. It’s why I always say if I ever perform in a band, I’m playing an instrument like drums or guitar. The voice is a fragile instrument that needs a lot of care when performing.
yeah i enjoy listening to her but the crack at the beginning sounded like it might have hurt, hope she takes care of her voice as i want her to continue being part of the band. probably she will not have this problem when they start doing the new songs and less of the older ones.
Loved watching your reactions and emotions Josh - I'm 1000% in too! I can't stop smiling and never thought we'd get to experience the rush of LP again. Emily is SUCH a good fit, bringing her own style and vibe - she's killing it out there, and My December has me in pieces every time - we so need it as a release. The joy and energy of the band, especially the huge smile of Mike performing again is so heartwarming. Beyond grateful for this gift. "This is what you asked fooooooooooooooor!!! 👑🔥🖤
I remember the day that Chester died. I had just weeks earlier gotten together with my girlfriend and she told me she had volunteered at a festival here in Norway just to see them live the year before. I sadly never got to see Chester live, but if LP comes to Norway again. I'll be there.
Can´t wait to see them live in São Paulo (Brazil) nov. 15. Tickets sold out in 20 min and I GOT IT! FINALLY get to see my #1 band live, been decades of trying to live this moment! So excited.

I’m from the Netherlands and I got tickets on saturday on ticketswap and with a lot of luck. I cried my eyes out for an hour!! So me and my Brother drove to Hamburg. When the show started we both had tears in our eyes again! I could imagine how it would be. But this was SICK!! Emily her voice is even better in real life. We looked at each other lot of times like holy shit! You could feel the love, emotion from everyone and embracing emily. LP is back 🧡 beyond happy. I never leave comments anywhere but I had to. Sorry for my spelling* I did my best haha
I've watch all the live shows from this tour and it it just keeps improving. Emily is such a good fit and Mike's on fire! LP is creating the magic again!!!
1:05:09 the highlight of the show. That version of Lost is breathtaking. Sometimes we forget than an alternate take on the song can bring all the emotions out in a positive way. I am so happy that they decided to do it in piano form. Because when you analyze Lost and its lyrics, its a heavy song.
She did a longer scream in her NYC performance of Faint with the line "I won't be ignored", it felt like such a statement that yes, Emily won't be ignored. So when she didn't do the long scream in Hamburg, at first I was low-key disappointed but still satisfied.... That is until, Heavy is the Crown played and holy shiiiii.
You were caught with your pants down for My December like we all were. I saw the livestream for the first concert and had the same reaction, what a beautiful performance, I couldn't believe what I was watching, it got me choked up
I'm watching this reaction all the way from South Africa and it feels like I was there. Awesome concert and Emily is just nailing it. Also, can we all just give some love to Colin who is just smashing it. So hyped for the new line up
I went to the September 16th show in Brooklyn, NYC and it was AMAZING!!!! Sold out Barclays Center all standing and singing along for 2 hours. It was magical. P.s. I lost my hearing after the show for a good 3 hours, lmfao!
Every time she performs Waiting for the End.. you can see how much it means to her. So stoked to see them next time they come around my area. Everyone just seems happy to be back
I wonder if the claps sounded in time for the people clapping, but because of the sound traveling and the speed of sound, it sounded off for people far away from each other. That was the kind of stuff we had to be careful about in marching band because our band was so big
Oh wow, that’s awesome! If you’re going to watch and react to full Linkin Park concerts too, I’m ready to stay on this channel basically forever 😂 It’s so nice to share the emotions of their music with someone! It’s so much better than watching the recording alone 🫶 Waiting for your reacting to new song video. That was awesome and I'm sure it become new hit! Emily: ❤❤

I love Chester, but Emily? She`s something else, too! From what I heard till now, both the new songs and the live performances of the old LP songs, I`m just blown away. Didn`t think there was a singer out there that could catch the Chester-energy and still bring something new to the band. I was wrong: The new songs are classic Linkin Park and I love them!
One clip after one of the shows. She looks so stoked about how well the show went. She was like. I don’t know about you but I am not going to sleep tonight. She you can tell she was in her element. Lying from you is one of my Favourite songs by them. And she killed it. She gives me the chills in a good way. I can believe they found her. She is a queen. They are back.
Maaan... Im not gonna lie.. I watched this Live from Hamburg before like... 3 or 4 times.. And I was vibing to all the songs, and i was soooo happy.. But I really wanted to see your reaction the the whole set. But this time... Idk why this happend.. Some of the songs.. Literally just... idk if I can say this like that but destroys me emotionally... Like when i heard Waiting for the end I just realized that... They back... They back after 7 long years after the tragic death of Chester and now they playing songs AGAIN in front of what... 20? maybe 40k ppl on this Arena? I literally realized that and I started cryin like never before.. Seein how happy there are, The crowd, and How the crowd accpeted Emily... Same with songs like My December, Friendly Fire, LOST man.. I couldn't watch without cryin.. Like I had to stop the video few times to take a small break to watch that to the end.. But it was worth it.. Im soooo sooo fuckin happy that they back, that they started new chapter, I am sooooo Happy that Emily is now a Permament part of LP and the rest of the LP Family.. Sooo happy about that.. I hope im gonna be able to go to their concert next year if the back to the UK.. God... Im soooo Happy.

So hilarious watching this and when the intro to the catalyst came on the automatic🎵tick tsss tick tss tick tss I did made me think how many others do it. 😂
1:33:33 Like Mike said in the first stream. Chester is still in the band, he lives inside our hearts. I know he didn't say it like that but when an entire arena gets this loud you can't deny it.
1:04:30 Düsseldorf 2008 Dortmund 2010 - First row Shaking hands with Chester and Mike during In the End and catching Joe Hahns Towel, still got that one framed and not washed on my wall lmao Cologne 2014 - Bought VIP, met the Band, got my Limited Edition Meteora Record signed Oberhausen 2014 - Met the Band again thanks to the LPU Hamburg 2024 - Well yeah.
So with this the 3rd show into the tour now you can really tell Emily is becoming very comfortable with the songs and is putting her own spin on the songs and has her own vulnerability she brings. We are now starting to see the magic in her that Mike saw all along.

Love this insight and take, tx!
"I feel in a weird way like at peace with how right it feels"
So well said.
YES!!
The New York concert was even better. She cracked in GU but she delivered an 11sec in HITC at the end of a two hour concert. She is amazing!
Ignorant question here: what's GU and HITC? Sorry.
@@xenbuff „Given Up“ and „Heavy is the crown“
Brad's reason for not touring anymore, from what I've read, is just that he's been more introverted and isn't as comfortable in large, loud crowds as he used to be. Not much more than that. He still wanted to be in the band, so they just got a touring guitarist so Brad can keep doing all the non-crowd work.
Linkin Park being compared to the Wiggles is not something I ever thought I'd hear 😂
After her nerves got the better of her in Waiting for the End during the first reunion show, hearing her absolutely *nail* one of my favorite LP songs now... it brings so much joy to my heart 💗
She may not have done the 17 second scream on Given Up, but she did an almost 11 second scream for Heavy is the Crown, so... yeah 🤘
I've always preferred the Reanimation remix of My December to the original; the original just never hooked me for some reason. But this version... Emily and Mike's acoustic ballad version... is absolutely stunning. Between this and her Lost ballad, I need them to include at least one ballad on every album from From Zero onwards, please and thanks. Her voice is *so beautiful* with the softer ballads 💗
I agree: Heavy Is The Crown is already better, in my opinion, than Emptiness Machine. I also agree about that rising tone in the chorus; there's something about it, after the relatively monotone lines before it, that just *hit.* I want to say "hits beautifully", but I've already called her voice beautiful, so I need a thesaurus 😂
Loved all of this! Thank you
@@Roguenjosh Yes, from what i read, brad wasn't always comfortable in loud spaces, which is also the reason he always was wearing the big Headphones on Stage...
I'm relieved to know i'm not the only one who thought Leave Out All The Rest is such a great lullaby!
God Emily sounds great; Even though I did not expect LP to return and for another singer to attempt to honour chester's legacy, i'm glad she is the one to do it
When I was really young (like 10 to 11) LP came to Singapore to perform during the F1 season.
Haters are gonna be running on fumes at this point 😂 this song fucking SLAMS
This was filmed just a few seats to my left. In the End was the craziest thing ever - the crowd was SOOO loud and sang everything so perfectly. Craziest thing I've seen in a long time
It’s so amazing to have a band take almost a decade off and come back with a new singer and not miss a beat. Two new songs and they are both so good. This new album is going to be hot. Lava hot.
I forgot how many times he said “this is my favorite song” and I completely got you, LP is back!!
It was really cool and emotional show ❤
P.S. thanks for choosing my video for reaction! 🙌🏻
Thank you for your video... you did amazing job. It was an amazing show and I am happy i could see it
Most of the time the crowd was so loud and energetic I couldn’t hear Emily singing live. That was such a powerful evening
your word "pressure is gone", totally agreed 100%
funny that is had 300.000 views
there were 15.000 tickets and over 300.000 were in the online waiting queue that didn´t get a ticket.
That version of My December is amazing. I could not be happier with everything. It just feels right and warms my heart. I will be here for every live reaction to full shows you do of LP. Thank you man it's great experiencing with you.
"Leave out all the rest" really did it for me. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I just burst remembering how Chester spoke to me thru that song itself.
"This may or may not be a new song!"
😂 ah thank you!
i’ve always noticed she struggles a little bit through the beginning of The Catalyst other then that she always kills it!
The only thing she still struggle with is the high note in WFTE
yeah i enjoy listening to her but the crack at the beginning sounded like it might have hurt, hope she takes care of her voice as i want her to continue being part of the band. probably she will not have this problem when they start doing the new songs and less of the older ones.
I have goosebumps rewatching this...I was there live. I now slowly realize how incredibly lucky I was. Goosebumps. All over!
May I ask how much you paid for a ticket?
Can´t wait to see them live in São Paulo (Brazil) nov. 15. Tickets sold out in 20 min and I GOT IT! FINALLY get to see my #1 band live, been decades of trying to live this moment! So excited.
Yeah! I was waiting the past few days for your reaction. I love your video’s❤ I have never been able to go to a concert of LP with chester but from the start a huge fan! Sorry for my spelling* I did my best haha
honestly this was the best reaction i have seen so far.
Absolutely great to see them enyoing being on stage again. And especially Mike freaking out knowing such great musicians in his back
Love your Reaction! You so 🤗❤! Emily is great! Love and peace from the witchplace in harzmountain germany
I was there the crowd was so loud it was insane! We chanted Emily-Emily twice and each time she became a bit like overwhelmed it was beautiful!
If you’re going to watch and react to full Linkin Park concerts too, I’m ready to stay on this channel basically forever 😂
It’s so nice to share the emotions of their music with someone! It’s so much better than watching the recording alone 🫶
Waiting for your reacting to new song video. That was awesome and I'm sure it become new hit! Emily: ❤❤
You asked for it! I am 41.. I’ve been a drummer in various bands of various genres.. Metal/Hard Rock/ Alternative have been my favourites! Was never a Linkin Park fan till NOW!! Like WTF was I thinking?? I think Emily Armstrong is amazing! I have been down a rabbit hole for the last two weeks and it’s been incredible! Seeing numerous reactions to the Emptiness Machine that are so genuine and emotional really tugged on the heart strings! I don’t really know where the hate is coming from! Anyways keep up the great work! 🤘✌️
Not even a month in and The Emptiness Machine is already a concert anthem, they were so smart to make their new songs so goddamn catchy.
I LOVE Emily's voice... Wow... she can carry the old songs and the ones written for her are even better for her style. I HOPE this is a new era and start. And seeing the joy on Mike's face when they are live is ABSOLUTELY saying a TON!
Enjoy all the LP content coming from ya mate. Like you, I am super hyped about the return of LP and their continued evolution. I can not wait for the album and for the tour when they get down here to Aus.
I actually sat here tonight and watched the whole thing, enjoyed your commentary too! I liked and subscribed as you asked...
I think the best way to say what Brad is going to be still doing for Linkin Park, still a main member from behind the scenes, recording and stuff but not Touring
I love that the new songs so could easily of been meterora era LP
They are bangers. I miss the earlier slightly heavier days of LP
I think they come back 😉
But don't forget, the boys gettin older 😅
Love to watch your reactions!!! Emily is great. New divide and lost in the echo fit her voice so well!!
i was there! it was just mindblowing.. Emily is awesome!! LP is back.. it feels unreal.. can´t wait for next year.. and the album.. getting 40 years old... they just made this year unforgetable..
God... Im soooo Happy.
not even Chester was able to do the full 17 seconds. he only did it a handful of times
For all the talk on Emily etc
Who,in my opinion is getting better and better.
I just want to give a massive nod to whoever designed the stage and lighting. The whole production is fucking incredible
Clapping to live music is the most german thing to do
Nice thank you for sharing, and Josh previous video I watched I was dissapointed when you said OMG she can't sing, She's nailing every song propably she was stress the first show witch it happens we are humans. subscribed
Apparently they wanted to do "Keys to the Kingdom", but switched in "Heavy is the Crown" on the fly. So it was not planned beforehand.
You have to watch the London show now! Incredible performance and an incredible crowd
The entire stadium singing like that is fucking wild
I was there in NYC and it was wild to barely be able to hear the band at points because I was in a stadium of 17 thousand people singing along
***I LOVED what LP was ... and I LOVE what they are now***
I loved every moment of the concert again. Emily was amazing.. I hope they come to Hungary again!!!
If you have to travel and it's in Bris, you have a place (and energy drinks and spirits) waiting for you
Much love 🖤
I was going to tell you to watch this concert! Absolutely gutted i couldn't attend, i was flying on holidays the same day and nothing i could do about it :(
But this concert is soooo good. The way they support Emily. Best concert by far for now. We Germans know how to celebrate a good band ;)
here in Brazil, it’s going to be just like you mentioned, with the crowd right in front... it's going to be insane! I'll be up front :)
I got the pleasure to watch them live in NYC, lemme tell you her vibes and singing is powerful, she can deffinately nail everything, I think that she is being reserved but also getting comfortable! Loved the reactions, binge watching them all!
I've listened to the first stream, the NY show and this show. She is improving so much from show to show! She is really finding her space and it's awesome to hear! Also let's not forget these are recordings from phones and the performance sounds great still!
That My December version! Absolutely beautiful!
One of THE reactions I have seen so far!
I've only seen Linkin Park once and it was for the LA show of their new tour! The setlist was pretty much the same except for Keys to the Kingdom instead of Heavy is the Crown. Cant wait for their real 2025 Tour which should include more songs from their new album.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hears all the add libs in my head from the live in Texas DVD literally played that thing on repeat I still have it too❤❤❤
Every. Time.
Dude. I was at London last night. I'm typing this message at the 12:17 mark where you say "if they don't come to Adelaide I'll have to travel". I'm going to say this using one word. "Travel". I first saw LP back in September 2001 at London Arena and seeing them last night was like seeing them for the first time all over again. Incredible.
It's amazing to see Emily's evolution and adaptation to the songs. Each performance gets better! She's so good!
Saw the show in London. Experience of a lifetime!
1:04:30
Düsseldorf 2008
Dortmund 2010 - First row Shaking hands with Chester and Mike during In the End and catching Joe Hahns Towel, still got that one framed and not washed on my wall lmao
Cologne 2014 - Bought VIP, met the Band, got my Limited Edition Meteora Record signed
Oberhausen 2014 - Met the Band again thanks to the LPU
Hamburg 2024 - Well yeah.
So with this the 3rd show into the tour now you can really tell Emily is becoming very comfortable with the songs and is putting her own spin on the songs and has her own vulnerability she brings. We are now starting to see the magic in her that Mike saw all along.
Really enjoyed watching this with you! X
Greets from Nuremberg. I like your reacts. LP had so much Fans in Germany. Emilia is wonderfull.
waiting for the end is just 10/10 👩🍳💋🤌🏼 chef‘s kiss
