So, if I saw this correctly. The Blanka player knew DI was coming. Instead of going for the safe and obvious option to counter a DI with a DI, they went for a cool factor and paid for it.
hey fairly new player here and making sure I understand, so it's basically either A- you want the 3 hits to happen before the 2 active frames and/or have the 3rd hit happen during the 2 active frames or B- active the ex dp late so the invuln frame "dodge" the active DI frames and then hit during the recovery frame of the DI am I understanding correctly? also thanks so much for this video!!
Oddly enough. Both are right. Hit your opponent 3 times BEFORE the active frames or you can hit them After the active frames. So long as it's not during the Drive Impact active frames you should win the exchange.
@@vincentFGC LP Blitz can beat DI. It's tough though because that third hit HAS to be before those DI Active frames. So if 3 hits lands before DI is active, LP Blitz wins.

@@CheshireFGC It very easily could be. Just my first time coming across this scenario with Blanka. I've seen the float a few times before from catching someone in the air. I think for me also it with actually breaking it down a little more that really got me thinking about it.

Cool breakdown
Thank you! I forgot to add a “this is not to embarrass anyone” disclaimer. But I think you got the idea.
Ayy yo! The legend himself showed up!

love that JLU clip
Out of context moments. Such a great set of clips!
love finding channels like this. subbed
Awesome. Glad you found me!
Knowledge so strong it’s like you made the game
Shhhhh... No one is supposed to know.
Yeah I was definitely shocked when I saw that
The post flub punish was the best part. I just stare in amazement till it's too late to continue the juggle. Lol
What a rad breakdown.
Simple and to the point. Gotta love it!
I appreciate it. And hope to do more.
@@KageShyGuy Yup, easy to digest, well presented.
Great breakdown
Thank you. I’m kinda learning as I go. But am enjoying it.
Dope video bro I always like these nerdy, niche situations, and I mean that in the best way possible
I appreciate that! And I do too. I don’t think there’s enough “situation” videos out there.
That was sick. Fire video
So glad you enjoyed!
That's so sick bro.
Glad you like it!
Great breakdown and great editing!
Thank you! A lot!

Blanka Ball still works. It was just done too soon. My guess was those Blanka like reflexes went for a natural punish.
Cool stuff
Thank you. I'll have a hitbox moment coming soon.

@@therealhalfmind ok so if I input a ed lp blitz and the 3rd hit ends up being during the di's active frame, di still wins?

This is rare? It happens to me quite frequently
Really? And against Blanka or just airborne after getting Drive Impacted in general?

Just wondering but does di have armor during those 2 active frames or just when the frame meter is purple?
Yes. The armor goes from the purple all the way through to the red. So there is armor during that active frames.
Great breakdown, what If I'm on the opposite situation? How do I consistently beat DI with Ed?, cuz I keep getting DI'd all the time
Is this on wakeup or just in general? Also what move/moves are you doing when you get beat with DI?
