Especially love these custom lightsabers videos, because I can look up a Sabine Wren or Cal Kestis review anywhere (not with your charm of course😇). What I can't just do is look up videos of all the custom or more uncommon lightsabers vids you do. Keep'em coming!!!👍
I'm very happy to see Saber Smiths make unique hilts that people design. It looks like a wonderful hilt and I'm happy you put up a review of it. I'm tempted to pick one up, but I'd need to wait a bit since I just don't have enough extra to get this at this low price.
Great video Jon! Couple things.... your shirt is really awesome! And I also love Stargate!!! 😅 That hilt is really cool, unique, but familiar at the same time! 🤔 Tempting! 😂
Wow that's awesome John the purifier lightsaber is a unique hilt well you know all lightsaber hilts are unique but this one has a cool story and I love the name purifier it's sounds like a Star wars version of a Zanpakuto from the awesome Anime Bleach so it's super cool
hey Jon love your channel and you completely underrated. I just bought my first neopixel for halloween. Could you weigh different blades for us. 36in is a little heavy and too long for my height. thanks
You may want to get a 30/32inch thin show blade. Normally they are lighter weight and you can’t really hit things with it to hard as they are not rated for any combat. Give a look here at bendu, I think this might be what you are looking for. benduarmory.com/collections/blades/products/v3-btf-1-pixel-show-blade?variant=42690442723551
Not sure if you may know the answer to this or not but I just got this in a bogo deal from Theory Sabers but it came as just an rgb. My question I’m trying to figure out and if you may know is if there is a way to change the internals over the SNV4???
@ ok yea I had it mostly apart already and it isn’t hard to get it all out. It’s just finding where to get the proper core that’s giving me a hard time.
For these TXQ sabers that use the flat top unprotected 18650 cells, do you continue to use the generic ones that ship with the sabers, or do you swap out to a more reputable battery brand? If so, which brand flat top do you recommend that will fit the TXQ chassis?
Never swapped out 1 battery. I do take them out tho when it’s easy enough. Today with all the removable chassis, it’s super easy to just pop them out. But you can get plenty of batteries at the custom Saber shop if you want to swap them.
Yea, I like the look of this but got my usual gripe on the pommel, lol. And a bit of a lost opportunity not having some kind of leds happening behind those 'heat sinks'. Might be an easy enough way to diy that. 🤔
@@TheCollectorsOutpostMaybe getting some thicker more robust silver joints holding the emitter together but less of them so a Kyber Krystal could really shine through. Or maybe just getting rid of them all together if you could 🤔 Ah I'm over thinking this way too much, but that saber's emitter section reminds me of the the Starkiller version that has a Krystal, almost looks like it was made for a Krystal!
Great video as always ! I have one questin if I might :) . I´am currently in the market for a lightsaber, and as I´am from central Europe the best seller would seem to be the Padawan outpost. Their stock offers Xeno V3 or Proffie 2.2 , and my question is, is the Proffie still worth it over Xeno, even though it´s the older version and not the newest 3.9 ? Thank you for your opinion and may the force be with you.
The newer proffie 3.9 really isn't much up an upgrade for the most part. Im not a proffie guy tho its amazing. I have tried to learn proffie coding and it has been nothing but awful and a waist of my time. with How far Xevo v3 and SNv4 tech has come I would personally never buy proffie for myself. I still would rather Golden Harvest over them all.
@@TheCollectorsOutpost Thank you for the reply and opinion :) . It´s great to hear that the 3.9 is not that much of a step up. I would love to get Golden Harvest myself, but to be honest, I dont know about a good seller based in EU or UK to get it from at the moment.. Is the Xeno V3 pulsing effect much worse than Proffie (like more of a strobe )? I would really like to make the blade as close to the screen thing as possible. Also, as this would be my first saber, I never heard them in person so can´t tell if any of the board has a better sound quality or what not.
This is the only non-replica hilt I really like. So I bought it and should be here in about a week! haha. I'm already planning out how to add a D-ring to the single hole at the bottom and drilling speaker holes somewhere in the pommel. As well as adding a wrap to the handle, maybe paracord.

Thanks for always running us through the directions on how to use these, Jon!
Sure thing! I know it’s not everything in the saber but I try to just get everybody going with all the basic stuff you need.

How does the hilt diameter compare to other TXQ lightsabers? It seems a bit on the bulky side, and closer to Galaxy’s Edge sabers
This saber sounds amazing. Can’t wait for for the Baylan Skoll saber to arrive. Loved that video as well

Oh thanks about the shirt hahah. I been pulling out my button down shirt cuz it’s just easy to pop on the mic hahah
Really awesome looking saber. I really dig the emitter on that! Fantastic review as always!
That is pretty neat. Thanks for showing us.
Great sounding saber I quite liked the design of it,looked comfortable to hold, another great show mate 🤙🏻
Thanks! Yeah it is a nice one.

Love the saber design but the only problem i have with it is that the isn't a place for a covertec wheel or clip
Is this a vhc compatible hilt? I like the look of the emitter, but I’d also like to experiment with other grips and pommels!
VHC Quick-Coupler? No idea. I don’t don’t have one.
@@TheCollectorsOutpost I mean the vhc threading standard for parts.

You would have to have all the internals removed and fully installed with a new pixel core.

I’m already thinking about sending this to a customizer to install a krystal and maybe have it exposed under those gold grill areas.
