I am looking at this video again after a couple years. The student...strikes me more as an orchestral player than a soloist. Or, let's just say the Sibelius is NOT her piece. You can not just clomp your way through the last movement. Yes, a good deal of it is "pesante' and heavier but you have to have the brilliance in there somewhere or else it is just terrible. Silvia recorded this piece in the 1980s with Neeme Jarvi, a very fine recording.
