I hav e the magnetic 🧲 seam guide and it is extremely helpful , but never tried the two magnet method . I will definitely get another magnet and try it as well to sew the elastic . Thanks for sharing .
Instead of the little magnetic holder they make for sewing, I use the big one they make to use for screws and bolts. They carry them at most stores in the hardware or tool section. They are lots bigger and cheaper. Holds my pins and such beautifully.
This is why mechanical machines are the best. With the computerized ones they have alot of convenience, but can't use these magnetic guides. They can disrupt the circuitry. Not saying not to use computerized machines. Just saying that you should have a mechanical one too. Before I got my base model 8700, with needle position sensor, I had 2 machines (and still have them) a brother computerized machine and a singer heavy duty. But I have to say, if you sew more than 2-3x a year you should get an 8700 or better if you can afford But an 8700 with the brushless motor and needle position sensor is bad@$$. Doesn't do auto backtack but has what you need to step one stitch at a time. I wanted the 8700-7 with the module but for the cost the 8700 with the brushless motor and the sensor is awesome.
Sold separately….Go to stores that sells fabric or Walmart in the sewing section , it is called MAGNETIC Guides . Cheap …like under $5 at Walmart . I have one … but now I am going to buy another one. Mine do not have the side grooves like hers where she hooks the yarn to help guide it. Her machine base is made of metal so her magnetic guides have a larger surface area that she can spread out her fabrics. My base is hard plastic so the only place the magnet will work is on the metal plate under the needle. Good luck in shopping for the magnetic guides.
U r creative......even manufacturers would not have thought of so many uses, you showed us.
Using two or three magnetic seam guides was ingenious 👍🧡 and especially when using the yarn!
Die magnetische Nahtführung ist so klasse! Auch das mit den zwei zusammen geklebten Stiften, wirklich super Ideen, vielen Dank 🤩

Hello🙂 the guid is not avalaible for electronic sewing machine… ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ only for mecanic or electrical
Je confirme, il ne faut surtout pas utiliser de guide magnétique avec une machine électronique.
The best way to shot your electronic sewing machine
What are those magnets called and are they part of the sewing machine’s accessories or can we buy them separately?
