5 years i’ve been supporting Ballum and Max Bowden just for you to cast him aside like he’s nothing and destroy ballum’s beautiful love story within a few episodes. We fans deserve better 😢

Max Bowden deserves so much better than this nonsensical exit storyline and so do the Ballum fans.
This exit storyline is weaker than weak. Son of a supposed hardened criminal dabbles in credit card fraud in the USA. And manages to use said card to book a business class flight back to the UK. Leaving a paper trail that leads directly to him - but it takes the authorities the best part of a year to connect the dots.
It's got more holes in it than Walford Police Forensic's Department will, when they start analysing Keanu's dead body for his murderer's DNA.

I was firmly in the "jon sen overused ben" camp but this exit is a joke. So rushed. Sam and Ben iconic mitchells given cheap exits.

EE CAST TAKE NOTE - don't upset the bosses, or you too will find yourself written out in the lamest way possible, no matter how popular you or your character are. Not seen for a month, then gone in four eps. Of ALL the things Ben has done since Max made the role his own, to be nailed for off-screen paltry credit card fraud is pretty pathetic. Disrespectful to Max, Tony but most importantly, the viewers.
Still, saying that, not sure what else there was for the writers to do with Ben anyway. Since coming back from honeymoon, it has been one non-stop trauma after another. They have thrown not only the kitchen sink but all the cutlery, utensils and appliances at Ben but Max has delivered every time. Clearly the upcoming tour shows someone recognises your talents. Thanks for being what for me has been the definitive Ben and good luck with your future ventures 👋
