    I'm completely new to body work. Really interesting to see how this is done. Can't wait to see how you do the fenders.

      Thanks for tuning in! Ive done this stuff many many years ago, so this is some kind of new to me too :P Fenders are to come soon!

    Great work and video! Glad to see you back to work in the new garage !!! I think you should permanently attached front to the front as it can come off separate from the body and also the rear , side under door panels too . Just my thoughts. I like the look so far 👍🏻as always

    • @RustedandBusted
      @RustedandBusted  Год назад

      Thanks Dan! Not too sure what you mean about attaching the panels. The plan is to have the panels removable for maintenance etc. The issue I will face is not being able to get the jack under there if needed 🤣

    I can't wait to see her with fenders now. She is really going to be low and wide.

    Looking great! I would definitely plan on incorporating an opening into the front now. Maybe a trapezoidal opening to match the geometry? The C4's already run warm as it is. Do you already have a transmission cooler?
    Have you used a contour transfer gauge before?

    • @RustedandBusted
      @RustedandBusted  Год назад +1

      Thank you for the input! Yes I did have a few of those contour tools I used in the house renovation actually... 🤔 They may prove useful BUT I need practice for sure. I agree 100% on the venting. I was thinking of incorporating a duplicate shape like the bumper lights to keep the style similar 😎 I did buy an oil cooler a while back and planned to connect it to the engine oil feed but maybe it would be better suited for the transmission instead?? I'm thinking some additional fan power would be beneficial as well. When I manually put the fans on (always on) while the engines running and idling I reach about 200C max. In sure it would be better while driving but I agree, this is the first car I've seen run this hot

    The quality of your videos are very nice man! Are you using your cell phone? Anyway that lip will and allready looks great! And i agree with the comment below, some air ducts for heat dissipation would be a good idea. Theses cars runs really hot so yeah sone air flow upgrades are needed.

    • @RustedandBusted
      @RustedandBusted  Год назад +2

      Thanks buddy!! No cell phone this time around. I've got a few gopros running at 4K @ 30fps and a Canon EOSR running at the same resolution. I then export the videos at 1080p so I can zoom and crop without losing quality 🙏 I'm glad it's noticed though! It's a job in itself to try to capture it all and edit.

    Looks great but I hope like you said with air flow being a issue.

    • @RustedandBusted
      @RustedandBusted  Год назад +3

      Thank you kindly 🙏 I agree.. seems like it would be putting a wall in front of the car 🤣 we shall see.. Mayne some high powered fans will do the trick

    • @Gregblair88
      @Gregblair88 Год назад +2

      Some scoops with some simple duct work would work also and look pretty cool to. Like some oval cut outs on the sides.

    • @RustedandBusted

      @@Gregblair88 ouuu I like the sounds of that 🙏

    • @Gregblair88
      @Gregblair88 Год назад +2

      Yeah it might even be cheaper than upgrading the fans. Save ya some coin for something else on the project!!

    • @RustedandBusted
      @RustedandBusted  Год назад +1

      @Gregblair88 That's a great point as well! I absolutely can use the savings too! The amount of fiberglass matting and resin I'll need to finish this thing will be a small investment I'm sure 🤣

    • @RustedandBusted

      Rear spoiler currently is a greenwood replica. I'll be tearing it apart a bit to make a custom version to match the render 😉👌
