I love how Anya was the first to notice the crazy old lady was an abuser and thee first to look disgusted by it despite coming off as selfish and proud of her demon days/ victims throughout the show, it shows that she is starting to become more human
Anya's demon days was about vengeance for those wronged by others. She would have struck down that woman for the way she treated those kids without cause back then, if that was her thing (instead of, you know, women scorned, lol). It would have been completely in character for Anyanka to be disgusted about it, as well.
In my denomination, that's not how baptism works. It is a voluntary choice, and simply forcing them by dunking their heads and saying the appropriate words does nothing to save them.
What's worse: Buffy and Angel releasing Angelus unintentionally because of sex (post orgasmic bliss) or Buffy and Riley releasing spirits and making a joke out of Xander and Anya nearly dying at episode's end? Because I don't consider either one worth the sex itself or the happiness (aka lack of guilt) that comes with it if I knew death came with it.
@@ninipookie As I stated, not if I knew death and potential death came with them. But the characters not knowing doesn't change the question, because I'm asking the fanbase, who does know (unlike the characters who don't).
I find it far more likely that the "Poltergasm" was triggered by something the Initiative did, than just Buffy and Riley having sex a lot. This was a frat house! People must have been having sex there all the time! Buffy and Riley were just being fed on by whatever it was.
Yep. Makes me wonder if he's in the Initiative, and his interest in the "geopolitical ramifications of bioengineering" has someone to do with their work!
Where The Wild Things Are I thought was one of the poorer episodes of the whole series. The situation with Anya and Xander becoming somewhat tiresome, in that Anya is constantly pressurizing Xander for sex, we know she is a demon and doesn't understand human emotions and desires, and while it is as funny at first it is really overdone here. A very ropey plot here, and a real filler of an episode which sums up a few episodes of S4, even though it does have some brilliant individual episodes it has bad ones too. Best part of this is the reaction of the Scoobies to Giles playing the guitar. So much better to come.

Anya has been a demon for a millennia. She doesn’t understand how humans work. She’s adjusting
And she's only been a human for maybe 1 year.
Yep, Willow had a crush on Giles in high school - there was a picture of Giles in her locker!
And when Faith is doting on Giles and Buffy says "raise your hand if eeww", Willow doesn't raise it 🙊
Now is a good time to mention ASH as Frankenfurter
I can't wait for season 5!
Me too!

Ofcourse you don’t

Omg I didn't even notice the similarities lol
You have a great laugh!
Thank you! That's so kind!

8:26 isn't that the same guy from Beer Bad?

Yeah that's what I thought as well!
Definitely watch Beetlejuice!

This is the only episode in all seven seasons that I don't like.
Terrible episode only redeeming points are Spike scenes and Giles singing.
The Giles singing scene was indeed the best
