She always makes sure that she fully understands the meaning and emotional intent of the lyrics and then matches her singing to that. You can hear very well how she thoughtfully approaches her singing in each of the songs on her First Love album.

as much as i love all my technically amazing artists like ailee and hyorin, there's seriously something about lee hi's voice that got me hooked ever since i first heard it. it's very distinctly husky and unique, which makes me want lots more from her!
