Parents: "We have no colour preference... as long as it´s red..." :-) I think all three lehengas are very pretty, but the navy blue one with the peacocks was my favourite by far.

What I'm thinking: If they had the time to do custom, then why not get the peacock in a different color, that graduates down to a perfect color to highlight them?
Not pleased with the parents. Bullying is bullying, even when they're parents. It's a new era. Also its for the reception not the wedding, so she shouldn't have to wear red at both ceremonies. Just don't like to see people being bullies. The groom was fine with it and it's their reception.
Red maybe bridal but it’s cliched. The navy blue lehenga was way better than the red one.

Right. She intro'd herself saying she wants light florals for a summer wedding. Then she tells the shop she wants velvet but no particular color in mind. Then the whole family acts like they wanted dark, heavy options. I don't think Hassan's black sherwani went with her red lehenga.
You know, not everyone has a preset idea in mind- they were a no budget buyer so it’s already part of the service. Not really an eye roll situation to me Evy.
I think the parents had something entirely different in mind than the bride and groom.. which as an American, I find very difficult to watch all of the young people giving up what they want to please their parents. The blue was GORGEOUS on her!

The red reception dress looks like a bridal dress for the ceremony- you always want a difference between ceremony and reception outfits 🤦♀️

. I agree. The bride looked good in the navy blue peacock outfit but the parents were (especially the mother) fixated on a red outfit for the reception because it's traditional. Maybe for the ceremony but not necessarily for the reception does she have to wear red.

The peacock dress was stunning; unique and not like most of the ones we have already seen on the show. The cut and fit on the groom of the second shervani was the best I've ever seen. Surely there was one available in the same style but with embroidery work on it. I would have loved to see her in pink and he in the second shervani, embroidered in black.
Loved the navy. Always go with your own choice. The mother had her turn, now it's her daughters day.
Well this is probably the mother's turn because her dress might have been picked up by her mother too. That's how Indian wedding are. It's so little about the couple getting married and so much about the families. I love the Navy too, infact I decided to watch this video because of the thumbnail.

I know i loved the navy. The work on it was so unique. Besides the wedding outfit is almost always red so why have red for the reception. I like his 2nd jacket the best. The cut was so awesome. They should have taken that jacket and bling it up.
We are on Season 3 now, we need to mix it up. Who wears all those beautiful multi colored dresses, that we never see on this show. If its dancers or guest or who ever, we need a show on that!! Enough of the mono tone brides. Just one Episode, please.

I want to know who wears the tummy bearing lehengas. So often I hear the bride's mom saying the lehenga is showing too much skin, and I want to know why they're made that way since no one seems to want them.
I definitely wanna see more brides stand out in different styles and colors.

Have seen that red dress a million times. Beautiful, but nothing memorable. The blue was different and festive. It stood out! The peacock patterns were stunning in it...
who gets a red reception lehenga? red is supposed to be for the wedding ceremony if for anything. A reception is not traditional lol its just a party. But to each their own.
They should have customized the second shervani instead and added work to match her outfit. The cut was good.

Hands down I think the Navy blue one was the better choice for the reception, nothing is wrong with the red, but I think it looked better for the wedding and not the reception! Reception is where you would normally break away from the red and go a bit darker.
So sick of seeing red, green, blue. The introduction shows so many unique styles, but all we ever get is the same thing over and over.

Yes, but those are traditional safe colors. Few want to brave beyond that and break tradition. The same argument could be said about white western wedding dresses.

It's such a pity she didn't take the navy lehenga. It was soooo beautiful and unique! I'm not saying the red one isn't beautiful as well, but it's such ordinary bridal wear. The navy would have been something really special.

@ there were actually bridesmaids in some episodes. Growing up in America I guess you also adapt to some customs that are not traditional in Indian cultures. Anyways, we don´t need to call them bridesmaids specifically. We just want to see more dresses :D so we can say we want to see the dresses of the guests :D

So many brides....so much red. Traditional is nice but this is a reception. Parents just reliving their day. It was just cruel to watch. Nice to see original brides instead of traditional. 20 years from now, she'll look back and remember the disappointment.
Bride made the right choice. The groom needed the first white dress with deep red add-ons as dupatta or jewelry

I didn't like any of the lehengas she tried on..all of them kind of made her torso look short..I don't know,there is something missing.. maybe it's the velvet material..

I had the opportunity to be a bridesmaid at a Indian wedding. I wore light green and gold, the other bridesmaid wore peach and silver and the bride wore red and gold. We had a blast.. The pictures came out awsome.
WOW she looked stunning in all three but she definitely made the right choice. The couple’s outfits looked great together in the final pics
I love watching this, the clothing is so different to what I wore, I'm Scottish and live in England, but watching this gives me the feeling of still being able to travel. I have not yet seen one bride that doesn't look beautiful. I hope their is many shows on the way. x

Also I luv how everyone is natural looking, all the brides friends are not all shot up with Botox
or have injectables nor chests jacked up right near their collarbone. I just appreciate how normal

I'm White European American, but I appreciate the beading and embroidery. I looked at their online stock since I am local to them and they do seem to have a stock of gowns that I could wear without it being me trying to dress like I'm Indian or had any connection to the culture (I don't, just a Bollywood lover since college).
My Indian friend keeps saying she wants an excuse to buy something from there and I was like "girl, my wedding, come looking your best in a beautiful outfit from Nazranaa if you want"

I actually thought the dark green did suit her coloring. The navy blue didn't look as nice on her as I thought it would. The red was certainly pretty on her and everyone seemed to agree with red, which is all that matters.

I see so many red/single colour gowns. You guys feature so many beautiful dresses in the opening credits that are never worn! Would love to see some brides who actually choose something different. (Not that they aren't gorgeous in their traditional gowns, but I'd love to see something different.)
I loved the asymmetry of the second sherwani. The cut looked really good on him. The length on the first coat was too long in my opinion: it made him look shorter. I do love both of the wedding outfits on them though!

The way Sashank accept response from bride family is so better as he is okay for both good and bad reaction...but on the other hand Sia acts kind of weird when they don't like it
I don't know, to me she is just focused and serious, because she tries to figure out what her customers truly like and want from the outfit, so that she can suggest more suitable one. I guess it would be a bit weird if she tends to appear happy and carefree while customers giving her negative feedback. I love Shashank, he is very charming and relaxed, however, I feel he has slightly easier job with grooms' outfits, since men don't tend to be very fussy about it. They mostly just want to get the whole thing done and over with . They don't feel as much pressure as brides, I guess.
