- Today I got the change to cook the most expensive brisket I ever cooked in my life. This is a wagyu msb9 brisket basically the most amazing brisket I ever seen. I prepare it 3 ways to have an amazing brisket experience. Made burnt ends and also brisket sandwich and it was so awesome.

When I hear his voice I get hungry. Especially when he says butter!
An even easier way to render tallow I’ve found is to use the oven. Set a low heat and basically you have no chance of burning it and it’s basically hands free 😁 takes a long time but you don’t need to be constantly watching it and making sure it doesn’t burn.

Walmart sells American wagyu burgers for 3 for $5. They are a third pound each. Head to Aldi and get some Gouda cheese, burger buns, and a cob of corn.
Wagyu dinner for under $10. (Try the Gouda on a burger. It is good, even if you don't think you'll like it).
(I dunno if the Walmart stuff is good, but I have a local high end grocer that carries wagyu burgers in the case for about $4 per burger. Expensive, yeah, but they taste ridiculous. They also have ribeye and ny American wagyu as well.) You want American or Japanese wagyu. The Australian stuff is grass finished. If you are American or Japanese, it might have a funny taste to the beef. The Australians and the Europeans like their meat grassy and a bit gamey. That isnt how wagyu should taste.

@@skinnybuddha8988 It's actually easy to get here in Sydney Australia. Prices here are a lot cheaper than the USA. I recently bought a Wagyu MB9 Picanha for AU$40 per kilo or $27USD per kilo thats about 2 pounds. I have it at least once a month. You all should try Wagyu!

It’s not the bacteria causing it to smell rancid, but the actual fat itself. See what happens is the fat contains butyric acid triglycerides and when it’s cooked that long, the butyric acid is separated via hydrolysis. However anaerobic fermentation can also produce these butanoate salts.

@@mahmutyilmaz8575 the reason he says it's fake wagyu, is because it's not japaneese wagyu. Wagyu literally means "japanese milk cow" it's a certain type of breed. This type of wagyu is most likely black angus mixed with the japanese breed(wagyu). If not, it might be australian.

Not so much for the meat because I won't convert, but your videos are always well done and entertaining. I also love your spirit of experimenting to do things outside of the box. One thing I've noticed a lot lately on cooking channels is the use of watermelon as a replacement for various meats. I'd love to see you do an experiment on that!

Hey Guga! I have an odd suggestion but should be good if executed well! Beef Spleen!! It is amazing stuffed with lamb fat, herbs, cow liver..This is usually cooked on the grill for mere minutes inside aluminium foil. Dont knock it till you try it and would LOVE if you would have your review on it and what you think!

You should try making a dish with a sauce called garum I think you'd like the umami and subtle flavor of it. Fun Fact- The ancient romans loved and I mean LOVED this sauce and nowadays it's making a comeback to top cuisine.
