When I saw Lynri had the illness, I immediately knew that Quincy and Lynri were Neil’s parents. I was shocked that it wasn’t going to be the case at first because Tobi dies but I’m glad Faye “saved” the day and revealed the truth.
@@King-ew6to Very ambiguous. They mentioned something dormant so it was possibly an autoimmune disease. Would make sense that it is inherited. But Neil's symptoms wouldn't match.
Hmm this one feel shorter than the last 2 games but still very good none the less. Also, damn the extend Watts goes to give his parent a happy ending is very admirable.
It's short for a reason, unlike Johnny and Colin, Lynrie only lived half her lifespan before passing. This is also why when Quincy is traversing her memories, her whole middle age memories are cut off - the original her didn't have them.

Makes sense though with the presence of a second Neil in TTM and the random times that the screen flashed red when Neil's condition kicked in, even though it was supposedly the "real" world
I love how each movie gets better and better and introduces even more questions on the meaning of life. Neil getting with Eva in his fake reality is interesting because he tries to paint the perfe t life for himself that isn't real in the base reality, which makes it even harder to judge because of the weird moral implications of using someone in real life in your perfect fake life. Like how would the real Eva feel to be a character in someone else's fantasy? In a way it's happy but also perverted, in the same way giving his mother's memory figure the life she could've had when the real one never got to experience those memories. Can't wait for the fourth one! It feels like that's the theme that's going to be presented
I bought and played the full game, I am only here because it's easier to see individual segments in a video than having to play through the whole game again.
They did it again! SPOILERS AHEAD I appreciate the backstory for Neil and an explanation for the shady stuff he's been doing, but I still have so many questions! Like, when they labelled this episode "x" is it the roman numeral meaning 10, or do we just not know when it takes place/will take place in the "real" timeline? It's all so complicated idk how they keep it straight. But I loved the new characters as always and the canon Eva x Neil stuff. Ugh this series
I just wonder, did they come up with this narrative even long before To the moon, was it planned ahead or they just pulled this on a whim without giving a thought about how the sequels would be? The journey was fun, but encountering unanswered questions and plot holes and contradictions just ruined the mood :/
@@minhhoangnguyen2304 wait what plotholes? i suspect its setup for the next one, im pretty sure at the end of finding paradise we saw neil taking pills
I think you don't need to think that far. X is not always about numerical, it can be a "variable", it can be anything. For this case, i feel like it's just a "bridge" to the actual episode 3. The information that presents in this episode X will be needed in episode 3 i feel like.
@@minhhoangnguyen2304 What plot hole though? I don't think there's a plot hole. Also unaswered questions are needed to make you excited for the next part, if everything were explained at the first hand it gets boring fast.
Damn, these games are so great. Makes you really think about how short life really is. You blink once, and you're grown up. You blink again, and you're a grandparent. It feels so long, but it's so short.
Oh definitely. There are still many questions left to be answered. Plus, we haven’t really seen much of Eva’s story. So if there is a 4th game, I hope it will satisfy the fans.

When they first had a baby, I suspected that he was neil watts, and I was right. But I didn’t expect that his illness comes from his mother.

Just realized the Melody of Neil's theme “Best detectives in the world” was from the lullaby his mom humming to him before she pass away.

The part when Lynri got pregnant and afterwards looks like an extended version of Disney Up's part before Ellie's death
