Did you know there is a more affordable DTG printer for not only us crafters but perfect for small business?
Most DTG printers on the market are anywhere from $15,000-$20,000. This DTG is less then $4000. Now I know that $4000 is a ton of money but for someone starting out a small T-shirt Business that wants to invest into a DTG printer this is perfect. I have been in the market for awhile trying to find one for my Etsy. And when I came across this over the holiday I scored it for less then $3,000 I had to share :)

I'm just wondering on what planet $3500 is affordable for most at home crafters?
I agree with you, it's not affordable at all for a at home crafter.. thanks for the video!
Wow that is a lot of money for a small business just starting out
Exactly. I guess if you're in it for a serious home-based business, it might be worth considering. But just for crafting? That's a hefty investment.
Sorry DTG printers are normally 15,000 - 20,000 I got mine for less then $3000 during the holidays so I thought I would share for someone like me that's been looking for a great deal for a crafters side hustle
It converts to $4,595 to 6,710 here. Think I’m going to just stick to a sawgrass 😂🇦🇺
This is wonderful and yes DTG printers are 10 to 20,000 so thank you so much 😊
Your so welcome
Girl this is great , the price isn’t bad , especially the fact that it comes with the treatment below, this is a great idea, I love my sublimation because it can do more but this is definitely in my books to purchase next because I’m getting tired of cutting out these easy subli that keeps ripping and the fact that this is into the fabric , it last longer
seeing that preview( seeing it on the stomach) would be a deal-breaker for me, I would decline. Great video!
nice' but what about the large people?
Thanks for the info I wish it would print on dark fabric. I'd buy it if it did.
The RICOH Ri 100 is identical to that and uses the same software. It's the same machine, just rebadged. That's what we used where I use to work.
I want this, and it’s for the right price!!!
Thanks for this video. Can you print on black shirt?
This is awesome. You know how many shirts I do a day. I started with Htv last year I start with sublimation. But with those two I can't make every one happy. If not cotton or polyester. I'm sure this would be the best middle point for a lot of my customers.* Do you know how many prints I can do before cartridges empty?. And what the price for those cartridges? Thanks a bunch
I’m the exact same way! Same story lol I love making T-shirts ill look this info up and message back soon
Wish I would have seen this a week ago! Just got my sawgrass I would definitely have gotten this! Love dtg so much easier
I wish I had seen it some months ago I would have bought this instead of a Epson f170 and I had money for a sawgrass but took the Epson instead but yeah , got damn it lol my Epson is pretty cool tho, because I can make my labels but still lol
I’ve had mines for a about 5 months now very good nice vid keep it up!
awesome thank you for sharing :) and thank you I'm loving it wish I would have found it sooner
Good morning
I'm looking into purchasing one for myself.
Can you please tell me how many shirts were you able to print (your design u have for example) before you had to replace the cartridges.
Just need an estimate to do the math to see how much I have to invest.
Thank you in advance
I remember features like this with Hanes T-Shirt maker software.
Woahhhhh awesome video! Definitely budget friendly considering some of these machines go for 10k to 15k
How do you print a hoodie (thick) with this ?
When a regular DTG is like 25,000 it’s more affordable and it’s obtainable if saves
Regular dtg is around $15,000. Let’s not be dramatic.
Yes, it's cheaper. But that doesn't necessarily equate to 'affordable', imo. But the fact that financing is available may open doors for some people.
Hi, Crystal Ann keep inspiring us and Thanks for sharing! 💜
How much is the Printer???
I got mine on sale during the holidays for less than $3000. The current price is $3500
What is the biggest size design it will print? And will it print on dark garments?
Can you do a 2xl shirt? and print on black?
Thank you so much for this video and information
My quiestion is can I print light and dark color and all type of fabric?
Thank you for this video!!!!
I guess Roland doesn't sell DTG printers anymore? I was just looking on their website
What would you recommend instead?
CrystalAnn did you a wash test yet?
Great video, Is this machine suitable for a thick hoodie or a shirt with long sleeves?
hi does it use a lot of ink? how many shirts can you do without loading more ink?
How big does it print
Does these printers print on dark colors also or do they fade like sublimation?
Yes 3500$ is not an affordable option for most home crafters
Well, the financing is 99 bucks a month. So if you can sell 5 tshirts at 20 each, it pays for itself.....
If 3500 it's still too much you lack the vision of bussines ! Is better for you to find a job
@@colgatetoothpaste4865 😂😂😂
How about pre-treating process? will it remain the same?
My question is how big of a print can you do to the shirt
What is better sublimation or dtg printing?
its more of a personal preference.
im sure there are pros and cons to both.
Sublimation is better for polyester and DTG is better for cotton.
How does this work for bigger shirts?
Video coming soon
This might have already been asked but what about dark garments? Can you still print on them?
How does this compare to the sawgrass chromablast printer
hello, do you still recommened this as entry DTG Printer or the sawgrass? Thank you
thank u
You're welcome!
Can you use this for cups, koozies and other items?
no
Is there like an A3 size of this same printer? A4 is small for the XL and XXL
ive heard that many dtg printers clog if there isnt a steady flow is that the case for this
Question?
1. The printer ink doesn’t bleed through to the other side?
I noticed where you showed select fabric thickness and i’m assuming this helps prevent it I guess, but i’m still wondering if someone is off on their estimation of their shirt thickness should they maybe put some wax paper or something between the shirt as a safeguard?
So far I have seen no bleed but that’s a good question I think the thickness has to do with how close the print heads get to the T-shirts
Do they allow u to make payments ? Somebody said something about $3.500 that's not cheap by any means .
yes at Roland and you can use your debit card no interest :) $99 a month www.rolanddga.com/products/printers/versastudio-bt-12-direct-to-garment-printer
What she’s not saying is that this can only print on white and very light colored shirts. Anything semi dart all the way to Black it will not print on
You say it cannot print on white, but on their brochure they have white garments printed. I am wondering how can this be?
You can print on white. It does not have white ink. Sorry for the confusion hope this helps
Rather save though and get a white toner printer
I have been wanting the Oki for awhile? I Thought I would try this out for my Etsy. What white printer is on your list?
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Oki but I want the one capable of doing 11X17
I want both, lol.
Hi there🤙🏽So you can’t do white t shirt?
Would love to see the maintenance and cost for ink etc. thanks great video
i remember reading each color is about 200 bucks.
i think the white is the most expensive.
sorry, no white in this model
I’ve had this printer for about three months now, I’m not happy with how the print washes out.
Thank you for the info I’m about to do some wash test. Have you tried using the heat press the set the inks? I’m curious if that makes a difference something I want to test for sure
Those of us in commercial DTG companies use a pretreament chemical on the shirt before printing. I bet a light colored garment / CMYK only pretreament solves your washing problem.
Yeah but the funny thing about it is if you go to their site this printer is 8500.... I don't know what they're getting 3500.....
Does anyone know q DTG printer or something similar that can print on other materials like paper or cardstock? When I asked someone who makes custom trading cards what they use to get such a high quality print (especially the white parts), they told me they use a DTG printer, but refused to reveal the model or anything.
Can u print XXXL shirts on this?
Details where can I order mine?
Neat
found one wholesale for less than 1000
So, it looks like this printer is for kids size shirts / garments.
adults to the first shirt I made was an adult large and I got an order for 3 youth shirts so I decided to use that one for the video. I have more videos coming soon
I saw that, I as wondering if you can do 3x and 4x shirts on it.
I'll stick with my Epson EcoTank printer and Inktec sublimation inks for now, way much cheaper, less hassle, and not forgetting the cost of a DTG replaceable print head and inks are extortionate.
How are you printing on Epson EcoTank printer tshirts? Did you by yourself modification? I've seen some of them but it was way too complicated to build it
@@michalstastny4811 yes, bought a brand new ecotank (have 3 now), bought sublimation ink, filled up the empty tanks, got an ICC colour profile installed to my computer for Photoshop, that was is very simple.
@@mystscot9814 Wait, you are printing on some transfer film and press them later on shirt? I mean i was talking about real printer where tshirt was running just like here insted of paper and it was printing directly on it
Too bad it doesn’t print white
$3500 and you can’t do white?? Come on...
Far out, near $7,000 AU. Not all that affordable for most.
3000 euro`s seems very affordable.
$3500 is my Used Car down payment money for 8 months then Repo....Repeat. I had to be with Girl with kids and use her tax money for that no cap. So $3500 ain't affordable
What a load of BS!!! 3800 dollars is not cheap and each ink cartridge is 200 dollars not to mention the repair cost....... how could you even mention the word affordable when this machine is the same cost as the other DTG on the market??
U musta been smokin turtle turds thankin immo be spendin $3500 for that.
Yes ok $3500.00…cool, from yo hands to mine…..let me get $2500.00 and I’ll get the other $1000.00….lol…we will be good than
