Last year for a steal I won probably the most beautiful Probus tetradrachm ever minted. So many Alexandrian tetradrachms appear rough and weathered while mine looks like it was minted yesterday . The portrait and eagle appear the work of a great master and the toning frames it perfectly. I definitely recommend giving Alexandrian's a chance some of them are quite magical.

Very interesting. In a few cases,a Tetradracham of a couple of rulers, are less expensive than their denari etc.

I didn't even notice an audio issue with the previous upload- the beautiful coins distracted me I guess ;) But another chance to watch any of your videos is always welcome.

I just recently bought a Macrinus Silver tetradrachm from Seleucia&Pieria ( Antioch mint). It has the Antioch eagle and Shamash (Sol) underneath the eagle with radiate crown. Beautiful. Love all the videos, ty for the hard work

I recently acquired that beautiful tetradrachm with the goddess Artemis. And I have a few modest tetradrachms from the 3rd century from Egypt.

The first coin presented is magnificent. It appears almost convex. I only have one cistophorus. Mark Antony with octavia bust on rev. I love the larger size. My next hopefully will be the Augustus with capricorn on reverse (goes with my surname) when I begin collecting again and the "Owl" eventually.

Hi Leo, the Artemis head on the obverse of the First Meris tetradrachm is exquisite... 2:26 combines 2 different tetradrachm, one of Gonatas and one of Perseos, I think. Great video!

Most certainly, at least a basic guide on Anastasius monetary reform is in the works.
