I just found your channel while uploading a video on my channel. You are such a good teacher....your technique, voice and demonstrations are excellent. I follow Robert Kofed as well and have spoken with him a few times. Consider me a new subscribers. Frank Jenkins, Owner, Pops Custom Signs, LLC.
Ideally, you have a cup you can run some tests on using the material test cards specific to rotaries. If that's not an option, you can check in with other users of your specific machine and see what they are using as a starting point. That may work perfectly, or you may need to adjust.
your square you made in lightburn wasn't actually square. it was 25.4 x 28.331. You should turn the lock OFF and adjust both sides of the square to be equal. I'm assuming your steps per rotation are making up for it somehow. Thanks for the video by the way, all the Thunder videos make lots of assumptions that we know what we are doing already :)
@@ThingsKatieMakes totally, I'm a beginner and it was.much more thorough than anything else I've seen so far. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy on how you measured things 😜
Thank Katie. This video is exactly what I needed to get things squared away!
Awesome!
Always some great tips in your videos and a good job explaining calculating steps per.
Thanks Dave! Appreciate it

Well thank you so very much! I try to give as much as I can an think about how it will make it easier for everyone to "do the darn thing" :)
Do you have a link for the tape measure you used?
don't know if this is the exact one - but very similar! amzn.to/3KrmkjK

How did you measure your rollers?
I used the information from my manufacturer- Rotoboss provides for all the models.
