Back in December I opened two retail blasters and pulled a Goldschmidt Pink and Heliot Ramos base auto, heavily considered buying a few mega millions tickets that day 😂

The point of most hobbies is to enjoy, difficult when companies endlessly increase price points to astronomical levels which is fueled by those whom are ready to consume product at any cost/price. Topps are too happy to print money ,you are ready to pay? they'll keep printing
What chance is there of actually getting all this money back in this entire series.
I'm a Rangers fan so I love the Glenn Otto autograph, but that was a stinker of a box.

Let’s just pretend that Topps didn’t screw up and the rookie autos were included. How do you justify these retailers charging anything remotely close to $900!? I have to admit I just don’t understand the card market. I have a pretty extensive collection of sneakers and most are rare and at worst some are common, but even at worst most of them retain their retail value. But with cards it’s highly unlikely you’ll get retail value and that’s before the retailers insane prices. Even if you do get a big hit you’ve already overpaid by so much that you’re still at a loss.

I guess my question is who is spending the $$ on these cards in the auction? The auto's and rest of the box are essentially worth nothing ( except 2 buy back cards)..
Oh geeeeez. This was the absolute worst release of the year in terms of value. Not having the shortprints absolutely killed it, but even if they were there the quality control for Chrome this year was so bad that it wouldn't have made the biggest difference. I'm shocked the return for this was as high as it was. Woah. Yeah...I did not like Chrome at all this year.

Topps dropped the ball on this product by adding veterans autos which killed the odds of even pulling a good rookie auto.
