The joke here is that when Jake died, he actually threatened to cover all of OOO and possibly the world because his body wouldn’t stop ending-in the sense of it continuing to grow without his active body to control it, i mean.
This happened canonically, and the way they solved this was by dumping him into that giant chunk that was taken out of the world. He ended up fitting in there, causing new life to flourish on his dead corpse.

This is a parody to a creepypasta called "DOGSCAPE: Dog apocalypse" a story where the whole planet earth is covered with dogs and the last humans alive try to survive.

So this takes place during the episode "Crossover", where Finn and Jake travel into the Farmworld Universe to see what is interfering with the Multiverse. The sad thing is that this is probably what Farmworld Jake sees after being possessed by the Lich, a happy place of fun and adventure while in reality the Lich is using him to help exterminate all life in existence.
Alternatively, it could also be a Bad Ending where the Jake we're familiar with ends up getting possessed as well during their fight with Farmworld Lich.
Or farm world Finn and the litch kill Finn therefore the litch possess Jake that's probably what you said but I don't care
