Assassination to journalist that criticize government is literally the most common thing ever. The corruption there is also insane. They stole Chinese developer that work in their land. As a result most of of the buildings are unfinished. In addition,Hunsen literally hold power for the point where he can give his power to his son. I look at my body metrics every day early morning and eat to maintain my metabolic age between 15 and 20 years younger than my chronological age....I don't fast...except from after dinner to breakfast the next morning. Exercise reduces stress and improves cardiovascular health.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Ride to work, ride to school or ride for fun.
A bicycle should be your first choice for short distance travel.
Getting children and adults away from computer screens and on to a bicycle would improve health and longevity.

She recommended 5 meals a day with sugar laden snacks between meals. After suffering his first heart attack, a doctor put him on statins. He then went to a naturopath who recommended homeopathic therapy.
There is a serious issue of misplaced trust of these self proclaimed "experts" who seem to be little more than corporate shills, who push consumption.
I've found that it's not so much what I consume, but what I don't consume that brings health and metabolic stability.
But of course, I'm no expert.

One very simple thing to always do is to breathe through your nose NOT your mouth. Not just around pollutants but in general as it helps with ageing (difficult to be succinct this is something that needs to be discussed in length it's to do with facial structure etc) Breathing through the mouth also encourages bacteria which is also bad. So 1) always breathe through the nose 2) plant more trees around you or get out where there are more trees 3) where your face mask when around lots of people 4) keep your distance from passive smoking and ask people who do smoke around you not to 5) just change all your household cleaners to environmentally sound ones 6) up your vitamin c and apply it to on your skin. I am actually very sensitive to sound but smells too. Best of luck!

Meditate every a.m. say prayers of intention for kindness, forgiveness, self-love and gratitude. Make amends where you can if you’ve given offense. Intermittent fasting with keto. (Lost 30 lbs in three months and still loving my keto plan). Be a vegetarian. Gave up animal flesh years ago and lost all chronic health issues. (I do eat fish and dairy, just no mammal flesh or chicken.) NO white or brown sugar or corn syrup. Lay off substances that addict you, give you a hangover or cause you to be dangerously unfocused. Do not drink if you are an alcoholic and never drink and drive. Red wine is only good for those who can handle the after-effects. It’s an alcoholic beverage. So is beer. Work out as much as possible. Walk around a lot. Sleep deeply. Cultivate friendships. Don’t take man made meds wherever possible. Laugh a lot.

Thanks for this Lewis. I love that you get all the information needed and don't squeeze things into a 30 min chat. I have followed David for a while now and have read his book. The hardest thing (almost impossible) is finding quality resveratrol in Australia (ironically) or knowing what are the best brands to order from overseas. It's trial and error but a big waste of money at times. I hope Australian companies get it sorted soon. If anyone can recommend any they trust it would be appreciated. I agree with this. So much of life is having people to work, live and share with. I've always wanted to be a healthy 100 year old.
On what he says about living to 200 or beyond, I feel like there comes a day when the world has changed to an extent we can no longer accept. When we are young we are taught a way of life from our parents. At uni, we may experiment with other philosophies and choose to live a different way. So many of us at least partially return to the way our parents raised us when we start raising our own children. Then we keep up with our kids and grandkids for decades. Eventually, no matter how long an active, engaged, and happy life we live, I notice that there comes a time when society or technology or what have you had moved far enough away from your experience that you can no longer engage. I think no matter how old we healthily live, there will come a day when we no longer wish to engage in life. Many people are fearful of death, but I really believe that given the chance nobody would actually want to live forever.

She also eat slowly and only eat when she is really hungry. It seems to me that too much food whatever it is, is very bad for the body. She also drink 16 onces of water everyday and no soft drinks. We don't do Keto or Salad everyday. We eat what we want. But do it with restraint. I also use mushroom in at least one meal a day. i think it has good health benefits (as garlic has too).

One of the ideas regarding why 'caloric restriction' is relevant specifically for lifespan elongation is on account of the methionine restriction. Another interesting idea is that even methionine restriction might itself not quite what it might look like at first glance, as restriction of this amino acid appears to primarily remain relevant only so long as glycine is in shorter supply ...
