This song is actually supposed to be about them having a love hate relationship with fame. They hate all the toxic shit that comes with fame but they love STAY which is why in the video when they finally get to the exit Felix opens the door because he wants to leave but then he closes it and STAYs. All of their videos and songs on this album have very deep meanings. Especially lonely st with hyunjins references to his hiatus and Felix and bang Chan talking about their struggles with depression.
Seungmin is actually way more comfortable with lower tones than higher ones since pre-debut as he is a baritone, but he worked so much on his technique that you couldn’t tell today :D Always thankful for your reactions ❣️
I have watched this mv so many times and it only just hit me when you specifically said each rapper has their own style and i knew who was coming, that they specifically placed the muddy water unit against the waiting for us unit in the rap bridge! I wonder if that was intentionally a reference of if it just worked out that way because those members are the ones who generally lean towards rap first
-I do feel like channie takes a backseat sometimes and let’s everyone else shine. He’s a great leader. But you can check out “waiting for us” you can hear more of his vocals in that song.

It's by the rap unit--Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, it's an homage to 90's era rap flows, with of course their own spin. The color coded lyric videos are good. They all participated in writing this one. One of my personal favorites from the album. I just wish I knew where they got the initial piano sample, it sounds like a modern recording of some 20's jazz or something, and they use it under everything else throughout the song so sublty it almost disappears....
