She never cared about Azeroth, she never cared about other dragons, she never cared about mortals....not even the slaves in her primalist cults. She lied to her cultists over and over and over again, exploiting and betraying and deleting them; while exploiting and betraying and mutating dragon eggs as well. There were no primal dragons with sentience "ANYWHERE" on the dragon isles or anywhere else on the planet besides those 4 named villains. Literally, all the primal dragons were dumb as a box of rocks, with less intelligence than a cow or duck or crocolisk..... so they could not possibly have been part of any army that ever fought against the dragon aspects way back before the sundering. There was never any explanation, then, of how those 4 villains were given intelligence let alone magic visage forms, nor any acknowledgement of the evil they did against mortals. Aberrus: It was a total lie, the ghost image of Neltharion that follows you around in the raid is not actually Neltharion and never was, it was a faceless one telling you lies. Therefore, it is yet another unreliable narrator..... so everything you see in the lab, and everything any characters inside that lab say..... can just be a lie. The faceless one could have done it all, including all the experiments, and all the hiding artifacts or secrets, all the enslaving of djaradin, all the creation of the dracthyr as a species....... every last single shred of it could have been done by the faceless one ghost and "NOT" Neltharion at all. When Nozdormu tries to retrieve a memory of the past from Emberthal in the animated cinematic which we saw just before the launch of Dragonflight, where she saw an image of Neltharion leading them and then using void powers..... literally we have no way of knowing if that wasn't also the faceless one in disguise using void powers to capture Raszageth and then putting all the dracthyr into stasis. Amirdrassil: Also a total lie. Freya never showed up anywhere in the dream. Elune never showed up anywhere in the dream. Eonar never showed up anywhere in the dream. All the fake magical characters in that dream (not just the ones turned to fire, but the non-fire ones also) did not give one shred of care for us, or mortals, or the world soul inside Azeroth, or the planet Azeroth itself. They tried to murder us, and they exploited and lied to the many thousands of dead night elf souls which they were using as fuel. There is "ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE" that azeroth gave any powers to any dragons in that raid. We have yet another unreliable narrator spoken claim about it, and no lore showing any such thing. Considering that power was given to an evil ice dragon mass genocidal ecosystem destroyer like vyranoth.....then it makes no sense that the world soul inside azeroth would ever participate in such a way. And considering that the replacement writing in that raid totally disregarded and violated and contradicted the entire purpose of those aspects..... Earth/Time/Magic/Life/Dream ........ where we "NEVER" learned anything about Earth/Time/Magic/Life/Dream and did not use any of those to help the world soul nor the planet.......... Then we are left thinking that some kind of evil cosmic Life villains hiding in the emerald dream somewhere just created a borg collective hivemind from the dragon aspects where they are finishing each others' sentences and repeating a mantra of together, family, together, family, together, family, together, family that totally excludes and victimizes every mortal other than dragons on the planet. They stopped being protectors of Earth/Magic/Time/Life/Dream and turned into a xenophobic group of greedy predators that only focus on themselves and their own genetic relatives. Yet all 3 of these major raids was presented as if they meant something else..... and you'll have some players that didn't pay attention to any of the quests, or fans that didn't actually play but just watched some cinematics online.... all assuming that these 3 raids mean something different from what the actual bad writing showed. Some of them still think that Vault had any evidence for Titans doing anything wrong, and Aberrus being some objective account of what Neltharion did, and Amirdrassil being some kind of empowerment by Azeroth in dimensions where she does not exist......... all of which is wrong; and not presented in the writing that way at all.
I quit playing during BFA when Blizzard completely ruined the Horde's storyline. Watched this to see what is going on with the Horde these days. Literally not mentioned once. Business as usual I guess.
This expansion i feel improved a lot of the in game mechanics, the flying and world quests were fun but from a lore aspect I’m just so confused now, especially as a player in the horde who has followed all the stories, I’m just left feeling confused and unsure how my character fits into all of it 🤷
These writers for the story gotta be the same writers for kong skull island. "an undiscovered island" as soon as humans started flying in airplanes that idea went out the window. Also these aspects can turn into dragons and fly but they can't find the dragon isles again. It makes no sense. They just are trying to make it like mists of pandaria because that was the last successful expansion they had.
I'm still wondering what exactly woke the isles. The death of The Jailer or the pain of Azeroth or maybe the coming of a new threat ? The world is healing ? Who took the sword of Sargeras off ?
Hi Nobbel, I wanted to thank you for all your work! I have trouble falling asleep at night and your Spotify uploads are basically the only thing that can help me with that, so I'm really thankful :) Oh, and I also really enjoy watching your videos when I'm awake ofc :p
Hey Nobbel are you going to continue your lore video when Chronicle Part 4 comes out? It says in the plot summary: “In the wake of cataclysmic events across Azeroth, new adventures and old dangers await those willing to meet them. From the rediscovery of lost lands to a demonic invasion that sees Horde and Alliance banding together to a journey into the Shadowlands themselves, fans won't want to miss this comprehensive volume packed with fresh story insights, gorgeous original artwork, maps, cosmology charts, character family trees and more!”
@@eodyn7 Dragonflight doesn't have any footing. The customer reaction, let alone the content creator reaction like Nobbel/Acco/Bellular/etc demonstrates that it didn't achieve any footing. The promises by Metzen at blizzcon that he wants people to come back and that his team needs to do things right means...... that the ex-team for Dragonflight did not do it right.
I consider it more than cheesy. It felt like a complete lie. As if some group of villains deep inside the emerald dream was performing mind control on the dragons and getting them to be incredibly ignorant of their purpose, violating their purpose, betraying the planet and every other mortal....... all while forcing these dragons into some kind of Borg Collective Hivemind where they repeat together, family, together, family, together, family, together, family.. over and over. They never once taught us anything about Earth/Time/Magic/Life/Dream and they didn't use Earth/Time/Magic/Life/Dream to protect the planet nor the mortals on that planet. They spent the entire expansion doing greedy stuff "ONLY" for dragons.
Neltharion's form is a human, which also didn't exist back then. But they have a flight designed around time travel, so it was probably time travel shenanigans on why they are shaped after species that weren't even around yet.

Gaaaah that final cinematic is so boring. I’m ok with the story, it’s just presented like a PowerPoint.
I quit playing during BFA when Blizzard completely ruined the Horde's storyline. Watched this to see what is going on with the Horde these days. Literally not mentioned once. Business as usual I guess.
This expansion i feel improved a lot of the in game mechanics, the flying and world quests were fun but from a lore aspect I’m just so confused now, especially as a player in the horde who has followed all the stories, I’m just left feeling confused and unsure how my character fits into all of it 🤷
What on earth does that mean "as a bonus"?
I'm so confused. How do they get their powers back???
You've always been an inspiration for me as someone who tells stories. I hope to count with your support one day on my RUclips channel 🎉
I do wonder how you may interpret the story of Eternity's End and the Sepulcher of the First Ones.
If only they kept Alexstrasza's model from the thumbnail.
Hi Nobbel, I wanted to thank you for all your work! I have trouble falling asleep at night and your Spotify uploads are basically the only thing that can help me with that, so I'm really thankful :)
Oh, and I also really enjoy watching your videos when I'm awake ofc :p
Hey Nobbel are you going to continue your lore video when Chronicle Part 4 comes out?
It says in the plot summary:
“In the wake of cataclysmic events across Azeroth, new adventures and old dangers await those willing to meet them. From the rediscovery of lost lands to a demonic invasion that sees Horde and Alliance banding together to a journey into the Shadowlands themselves, fans won't want to miss this comprehensive volume packed with fresh story insights, gorgeous original artwork, maps, cosmology charts, character
family trees and more!”
yea yea! gonna cover chronicles 4
it really was a filler expansion huh.
To summarize you can skip the whole expansion if all you care about is lore.
"Dragonflight" was a good expansion where WoW regained its footing. I can't wait for "The War Within".
I'm not sure what you mean.....?
@@laertesindeed Where are you confused? Shadowlands was a rough expansion and Dragonflight was a good expansion where a lot of things were improved.
Never thought the DF had a story...
I just came back to the game after 3 years, did the story, and not sure what the shit happened, i only did campaign and i got so confused.
Oh look, an underwhelming story told by modern Blizzard, who would have thought.
Story of red mommy and her mates
9:35 is that a fart lol?
Good video shit story
i don't know, like, the ending is a little cheesy, but i kinda liked it
I consider it more than cheesy.
Why is Sindragosa black as a blue Dragon withmagic afination and also a highelve, Malygos also? They didnt exist then?
Oh my God, dude, you can't just ask why people are black.
Neltharion's form is a human, which also didn't exist back then.
But they have a flight designed around time travel, so it was probably time travel shenanigans on why they are shaped after species that weren't even around yet.
@@mokarokas-1727 why i cant? We dont care american Bullshit and racism here in switzerland. Its a normal question
@@Ten_Tacles asked about that also and no one has a answere. Only Nozdormu would make sense. But the others have no clue about
why are there taurens in the dragon isles calling us "outsiders"?
Family ♥
Worst end cinematic ever, but a great video from Nobbel. Thank you.
First expansion I never even touched, huh. Probably classic n that coming out same time but still, ive no idea wtf going on
Family was the true loot all along...
Lame.
Bro,this story line suck balls XD
Sabellian not becoming the Leader and instead they toss it to Ebonhorn out of nowhere was the biggest slap in the face
Why do either of the bitchtwins who spent the entire expansion fighting over power deserve to be aspects?
What do you mean outta nowhere?
The whole black dragon narrative is about how Sabellion and Wrathion are immature, self-centered pricks with tainted motivations, while Ebonhorn is getting shit done.
So sad to see that the videos getting shorter as the story is stupid and boring and short
This is definitely better than Shadowlands lets be real
Dragonflight is a good start of a fix
Thanks Blizzard
You made a medium fix
Probably because the Jailer arc was terrible and should be forgotten. The less the game mentions that trash the better.
True
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
I'm so glad I skipped this one as well.
It was really fun
That Fyrakk end cinematic is such supreme cringe.
Why do you say "time period"? Is there space period?
Why are you pretending "time period" is not a common thing to say?
@@mokarokas-1727 I never said that
Im so happy that i skipped this expansion
all the characters look like power rangers of different colours and everything is about working together as friends and family, is this made for little kids? i think its very very lame and the conversations are cringe af, ill be playing for the gameplay, probably will be skipping every single cinematic and quest text, cant handle that much lame writing...
Oh yeah cause working together and happy endings are lame and childish 😂😂😂 bro just hates life
@@goestheboom5211 na, alot of people agree with me, they characters are lame af and the writing sounds like its trying to teach kids to accept and love eachother, not world of warcraft lol
you know that expansion is shit when Nobbel full lore video is 20 minutes :D :D
5 reten
A good job but you can't fix bad writing!
I didn't play Dragonflight. I appreciate this catch up, but Jesus Christ that Disney ending was cringe.
Shit made less sense than Shadowlands...Chris Metzen please salvage and end this thing on a high note
WoW is horrible at telling a cohesive story. Every expansion i lose track if the story and have to watch videos like this to even figure out what is going on.
Far out the story is bad and lame Feel for u, mate since ur focus is lore.
Thank f**** they killed Fyrakk asap, one of the worst "villains" in WoW recent history. Had it live any longer would have prolly reach Tom n Jerry levels of ridiculousness.
The visual designs for the new trio in general look weird, but yeah Fyrakk was by far the worst. HIs looks, voice, even his animation style were all so weirdly off base for warcraft. Not an insult it felt like a Rachet and Clank villain jumped universes.
It's so bad lol
World of Furry femboycraft
As I saids????
Why do you talk like that?
Why do you add random "s" at the end of sentences?
Annoying af
Midflight
