To the public and uneducated, he was a shadow. To those who know, is he just as great. That’s the beauty of his style, it takes a special sophistication to understand it!
This man is a cocktail piano incarnated. I can't help finding his runs a bit bumpy here, owing to age maybe, but then WTF cares when a Hank takes the time to grace the joint with his genius.
I hope you will listen to all his works before saying your words like that. I guess finding errors and accidents are what you love to do more than appreciate.
